And the best natural source of vitamin D is sunlight. So instead of being cooped up in our homes, we should have been getting plenty of fresh air, and sunshine.

If it really does work, the FDA will pull it off the shelves because pharma.
how infuriating!! can you imagine if the the brandon administration embraced this information and spread it as enthusiastcally as the vaccine push? oh my!
Sunshine often please
I didn’t see anything about how much to take daily.
I take 5000 IUs a day!...................
Twenty years!
All through this COVID nonsense, I've been taking vitamin D3 supplements daily. I also get out in the sun every day and and plenty of food already rich in vitamin D such as eggs, sardines and salmon. I never get sick, never wear a mask unless the Gestapo makes me (like on a train or hospital) and I go to NYC just about every week.
Yet many people just utterly reject the advice to get plenty of Vitamin D and they huddle up in their homes like frightened rabbits.
I know some will say that sunlight exposure alone will give you sufficient vitiman D and technically that is true but you need to pay attention to what latitude you are living on. Those in more northern climes will need to supplement between about November and March because the sun just doesn't get high enough in the sky to be effective. If you live in tropical climes, you are all set, provided you get out in the sun everyday without sunscreen.
The last four years I’ve been taking K2 and D3. Before covid, my PCP’s assistant said to cut back on the D3 pills, as my level was 94. Almost at the maximum, she said. I cut back for a bit and the reading dropped into the 70’s. I’m taking even more now. :)
I’ve been taking 2000 units of Vitamin D and a zinc lozenge every day. And I’m triply vaccinated. No COVID so far.
And I wonder if the omicron variant is a sign of the covid virus mutating into a mere cold virus. I don’t know, but I can do informed speculation!
I have been taking Norwegian Cod Liver Oil every morning for the last 50 years. Best, cleanest source of D3.
This article is spot on. When I got Covid, without even testing my D3 level, the doctor prescribed 10,000 IU’s per day for 10 days. That was the only thing he prescribed because I was already on zinc and 5,000 IU’s per day of D3. I was also taking a variety of other supplements.
My Covid case as last March and it ended up being pretty mild. Subsequently, I had my D3 level checked last August 5 months after recovering. My D3 level was 95ng/mL which the doc felt was a little too high and recommended halving my 5,000 IU’s per day by doing 5,000 IU’s every other day. Well, I decided since the blood draw was in the dead of summer (late July) a lot of my D3 level was sun exposure related so I am still taking 5,000 IU’s per day. I live in the Pacific Northwest so we are fairly far north and don’t get enough sun from October through April.
Also, since we were going on a cruise through the Adriatic and Aegean seas in October, I wanted max protection from my D3 levels. Didn’t have an issue during or after the cruise. But then again, I was snorting my Xlear a couple times a day...ha ha ha
D.D. Good morning! Thought this would interest you!
I’ve been taking 800 IU a day plus I’m outdoors quite a bit but it’s winter so that sun isn’t as strong in vitamin D.
Freerepublic where Vitamin D and/or Intermittent Fasting cures/prevents everything
Early treatment, instead of sending people home sick, "to ride it out," or to ride it to the ICR and a ventilator, could have saved the vast majority of those who have perished. They know it.
They demonized the efforts of equally (to the CDC and NIH) researchers and physicians who would have kept people alive by the use of the very scary (to social media and tech) therapeutics . . . Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine at the top of the list, . . .and would have helped preserve our right-to-try.
What’s really gonna bake your noodle, is when you finally figure out
why they didn’t.
