While continuing to assist homeowners that have turned into their parents, Dr. Rick heads to the airport with a group of his patients. Right from the beginning, things are not looking great when Rick finds out that every homeowner is using a paper ticket. The doctor assures that there is nothing him and his patients can't overcome, even this extremely challenging day at the airport. As snack bags are exposed and gate agents are bothered, it's obvious that these homeowners simply can't help who they've become. While Progressive might not be able to prevent customers from becoming their parents, the company says it can offer a variety of insurance policies.
"Dr. Rick" is a liberal Ivy League professor, trying to reverse norms that our parents had, and made America great.
What’s wrong with paper tickets?
PROGRESSIVE Insurance is ALL you need to know........................
Not wrong, you just don’t need them.
Oh please. Its funny. Relax. Or do you have a “Live, Laugh, Love” sign on your wall? (which he also mocks)
The Religion of Peace took care of that.
On the one hand, I get what you’re saying. On the other hand, it seems kind of silly to say that the behaviors being satirized in the commercial are what made America great. I think you have to associate it with things not depicted in the ad to reach that conclusion.
Boy THAT is for sure.
Got to tour a 747 Cockpit in 1972 as a kid amazing
I love these commercials with the guy trying to re-train the homeowners who have turned into their parents. They’re funny. As one who finds politics in EVERYTHING, I didn’t in these.
I like these ads for the most part. They fall under the “funny because it is true” model of most good comedy. I don’t see anything woke about this one either.
Some are spot on in this:
1. My in-laws drive me crazy with their print outs of everything. Refusing to just use a phone for their boarding pass.
2. Old people do get to the airport extremely early relative to their flights.
3. Old people love to point out landmarks as they fly over them. I have found myself doing that more and more the older I get. LOL.
4. They get so lost in the airport and ask more questions at the gate than others.
5. Buying airport food is unimaginable to my in-laws because of the prices. They insist on packing all sorts of snacks.
those commercials are mostly funny.
Exactly.
It’s still a good idea to arrive early since airlines overbook.
When I was younger and would fly coach, I’d bring my own liquor because of the prices. Can’t do that now!
>>What’s wrong with paper tickets?<<
I assume you mean boarding passes. Paper tickets are pretty rare.
I always use paper boarding passes as I do not like having my cell not be able to connect or to lose the app, etc.
And I have 3 million AA miles so I am not a casual flyer.
Same here.
Commercials used to be good in the late 70s and up until mid 80s.
Some had arcs of a sort.
Car commercials were entertaining at times, especially Joe Isuzu.
