My parents called me today on conference....out of the blue....begging me to get the jab. They are really scared and were trying to scare me into it. My only sibling suddenly passed away last year (not covid). It been a mind bendingly difficult year and a half. I am looking for advice on what to say to them. I was caught off guard and had company over etc. They are my going to let this go. I hate to see them worried and upset. We normally are like minded. I can't believe this conversation is even a thing! FU WU-FLU! ðŸ˜

Well, even if you get the vax tomorrow with J&J, you won’t be fully vaxxed for at least two weeks and the flare up in your area will be gone.
I hope your cousin’s husband is treated appropriately by the staff.
I fear that unvaxxed people are given substandard care just to get the ICU, vent, and death rates among the unvaxxed up.
I try to avoid too much interaction with people because I don’t need to be getting a sinus infection, cold, or whatever and have it turn into walking pneumonia and have it not treated appropriately.
If you were around your cousin recently, I’d suggest getting some oregano oil or colloidal silver. Gargle with it. Put a couple drops in a steamer and inhale it.
Put a few drops in water and drink it.
Yes there is no way I could do that. Imagine how they would feel if they ever found out and were not given the choice to instead, limit their contact with me etc. They have full faith in the vaccine...in their mind those who have it are good and those who don’t are going to die, basically. I Think their faith in Pres. Trump has a lot to do with it. They also have no personal experience with any adverse reactions. One of my close friends mother passed two weeks after second dose so I’ve dellt with it nearly first hand.
That’s one of my biggest sticking point. Any well-intentioned authority figure would reasonably suggest people get tested for antibodies before even considering the vaccine. Yet the exact opposite happens.
The Ivermectin is fine and I have some and have taken it (horse paste version). Just be sure to squirt it out into a dish. It is not thick. It will get away from you if you don’t have a way to contain it.
I took it straight. It doesn’t taste great, but it is not revolting and the taste doesn’t linger. Pick your food you hate. Mine is asparagus. The asparagus is far worse tasting.
But I also take — over at least an hour later — oregano oil because that can kill bacteria that might be an opportunist secondary infection to a a virus.
How do you get tested for antibodies?
Well, that’s a good answer to your immediate issue, and perhaps your parents would accept it - (though I’m wondering where you get the ‘4 years’ number, as nobody has had this vaccine for 4 years; and refusing a treatment on the basis of a political/ideological stance seems weird to me.)
But all of these discussions have caused me to wonder:
A lot of people here seem to be afraid of the vaccine because they doubt the relatively new mRNA technology. But that technology shows some very promising prospects for the future.
I wonder how many here, given a serious cancer diagnosis in the future, would refuse drugs of this derivation (a lot of people, back during the days of the simplest ‘vaccination’ technology, condemned even variolation. Science moves on, and it always will.):

Oregano essential oil also has antiviral and antifungal properties.
Tell them the reasons why and the issue is not open for further discussion.
I would not be coming here for medical advice. Political advice yes, but not medical advice. You need to do some serious research. Unfortunately,there is much misinformation you have to wade through. I’m 63 and decided to get the vaccine. In my case I decided I didn’t want to die alone in a hospital ICU with a tube stuck in my throat struggling to breath. Even though in my situation if I caught the China Virus there would only be about a 1-2% chance of that happening I’m really unlucky when it comes to gambling🙄. Since you are 45 your chances are better although they say the Delta variant is effecting even younger people. Whether that is just scare porn who knows.
I’m 68 with a couple of health problems. Never wore a mask, never stopped going where I wanted to go.
NOT getting the “vaccine”.
I get pressure from my mom from time to time. I just tell her I know she’s concerned because she loves me but I will not take a vaccine that hasn’t gone through the normal testing.
She leaves me alone for a few weeks.

If I had a serious cancer diagnosis I’d be open to trying many new things.
But I am perfectly healthy so really don’t want to take a dubious injection due to social pressure. The hysteria surrounding the whole thing is like a thousand red flags to me.
The new variant that has hit 48 states, the Mu variant, can’t be stopped by existing vaccines nor antibodies you received from the Covid 19 flu.
Tell them you have no chance of dying from Covid and the vax is useless against it. Did your sibling have the vax?
We just had a guy cured from the covid with the paste. He has been sick for two weeks and not getting better. Took the ivermectin and HQC and has recovered in 24 hours.
Tell them if this was like other vaccines, and it offered true protection, then you’d be the first in line, but that this one is not helping, and is causing some people great harm.
