I'm sad and scared - Employer forcing me to attend work in person

Posted on 07/13/2021 1:27:15 PM PDT by freebird5850

I have been working from home since Feb 2020 in Wa state. In my job role there is no reason for me to be in office since all assembly labor has been transferred out of state. Now they are forcing us to attend in person for a minimum of 3 days a week. The DOH website states that covid is mutating into different variants and the vaccines in some cases less effective. This excerpted directly from DOH Wa, "The detection of these COVID-19 variants in our state reminds us that this pandemic is not over. Now that these variants have been found, it is critical to double down on all the prevention measures to protect Washingtonians against COVID-19. I'm sad and very scared.

I just get sick easily. It sucks. I’ve had pneumonia in the middle of summer.

You might have excess stored vitamin A. People don’t need to take vitamin A supplements but government forces milk sellers to add it to skim milk. If you make sure to not take anything that contains added vitamin A, you might start reducing your stored vitamin A.

That is true, but with over a 99% survivability rate. . .I am not going to be scared into compliance.

Sounds like you’re yearning for another shutdown. If are afraid to go to work, become a union teacher. You get the summers off as well as the other three seasons and the gubmint sends you checks

It is stupid to have people in the office if they can do the same work from home. But it’s the employer’s right to be stupid. I hope the stupid employers lose all their good talent. The remote work revolution is upon us.

If a person can do the same work as home, why keep them on as an employee? Why not reclassify them as independent contractors? For the company, it's cheaper, with fewer legal obligations.

I wonder how many of these work-from-home situations will result in employees being reclassified as independent contractors? Or even outsource those jobs to India?

Can I ask how excess Vit A would make one get sick easier? Just wondering. I maybe in same boat.

Three days a week? That’s a cake walk.

Vitamin A is stored in the liver. If you have a lot, you use resources to remove a little every day. You use vitamin K, vitamin C, proteins, minerals to remove it. People with high stored vitamin A have lower blood vitamin C.

Researchers in Sweden noticed that people with more vitamin A have more bone problems. After that was published, the government stopped forcing milk sellers to add vitamin A to milk.

Do an internet search for vitamin A toxicity, and chronic vitamin A toxicity.

if you get the wuhan coronavirus.

Had it in November/December of 2020. Worst of it was loss of taste and smell. That was really weird.

It’s not an issue of compliance. I just don’t think they have accurate numbers, or have good data to say what this virus is.

Yep a man. Again, from the DOH website which I think is the authority for our health concerns yes? “The detection of these COVID-19 variants in our state reminds us that this pandemic is not over. Now that these variants have been found, it is critical to double down on all the prevention measures to protect Washingtonians against COVID-19”. It says that. I want to be safe. Going to work where there are no windows to open goes against DOH guidelines.

“This shows you have a strong immune system.”

I don’t have a strong immune system. I’ve had MRSA and now have an eternally compromised immune system.

I do not live in fear and I don’t believe a single word that comes out from Fraud and Dementia.

A government always tries to take more and more power, and as we “beat” this highly survivable virus, the government will dig in if not invent more threats to keep power.

Never seen a government willingly give up power once seized. Never will see that with this administration.

This is a political issue now, nothing more.

Turn off the TV. That tends to drastically reduce the fear factor.
