Herein, my FRiend, and I do mean that genuinely, is one part of your problem. You don’t trust the government with the vaccine, but you do trust the government in the rest of their CoVid response.
That’s a bit on the crazy almost ironic side of things. You are old enough and wise enough to see through some of the false information you’ve been fed, but somehow you buy into the other part.
If you are someone who is indeed immune deprived, then go get a complete work up and find out what your real health problem is. There may be something you are overlooking.
As for having pneumonia in the summer, you should realize that pneumonia, whether bacterial or viral in origin, has no seasonality to it. It can happen at any time of year.
Also, if I’m being perfectly honest here, hasn’t your company given you bits and pieces of updates and new information fairly regularly throughout the last year as to what and when they were expecting to reopen and have all employees back? I know that everyone I know has had emails from their companies that were frequently updated, almost every week or so. I suspect the same is true for your company. In which case, you had to have realized that at some point you were GOING TO BE REQUIRED to show back up in person. How have you been preparing for this moment in the last year, and especially in the last several months? Did you just hope and pray that you would be exempt? It sorta sounds like that.
I hope I’m not being too harsh. I am concerned about people who believe certain lies the government tells them, and not others. I have a dear friend who hates the media as much as I do, but believes every bit of BS they throw at her in regards to CoVid. She suspended all rational thought once the CoVid news started coming, and all because of fear. They got her, and they got YOU. You are smarter than that. As I mentioned in a previous post, pathogens of every different type have been surrounding you everywhere you are, for your whole life. For some reason, NOW you’ve decided that it is too risky to live your life. Hey, FRiend, news flash...it has ALWAYS been risky to live your life. You weren’t safe going in to the office before CoVid either, but the difference is that you THOUGHT you were!
