Vanity - Company Requiring Employees to Say if They Have Been Vaccinated or Not

Posted on 07/13/2021 9:38:08 AM PDT by Blue Turtle

I have a very good job at a company I've worked for...for over 8 years. The Company is now requiring employees to say if they have been vaccinated or not...preparing us for our return next month and looking out for our safety... because the safety of all their employees is number one priority. If you say you have NOT been vaccinated, you will need to be tested every two weeks, wear a mask at all times, and be seated elsewhere. If you DO NOT RESPOND to the email, they will consider you UNVACCINATED. What the heck do I do at this point? This is utter evil. I can't believe I am living in this time. Any helpful responses would be appreciated.

Assuming quitting isn’t an option I’d go with telling them the truth. My company is doing the same.

Same boat. If you got the jab you have full range of the amenities and no distancing precautions needed. If no jab everything is restricted and you’re a leper.

The vaccine industry is pure evil and fraudulent

You now have real warriors besides myself fighting for you to keep government out of your body

We need to aggressively fight all mandatory vaccinations!!!! especially for little children. !!!!

If a person with a Y chromosome can identify as a woman, I can self-identify as a fully vaccinated COVID survivor.

Welcome to Germany in the 1930s—yup, it _is_ happening here.

Everyone had to make their own call.

I am retired, but if was me I would truthfully tell them I was not vaccinated, follow their rules, and circulate a resume to try to get a better option.

If I were you, I’d ask if they will grant a variance for those employees who’ve had covid.

If so, get it. I actually mean get covid if you’ve not already had it.

If not, why not? Natural antibodies are safer and more effective that mRNA vaccines.

Have you had an antibody test?

I suggest getting on, if you haven’t.
If you test positive, wave that document in their face and tell them to go pound salt.

Maybe see if there is anything in the employee handbook or other policies published by the employer, which guarantees they will protect privacy laws, etc. and maybe even threatens the employees that they will be fired for violating privacy laws?

And calmly ask how they reconcile that policy with this vaccination situation?

If I was in your shoes I would do the following:

1. Don’t answer the question, and let the company treat me like an unvaccinated employee.

2. Look for a new job elsewhere. You won’t find a better time to change jobs than right now.

3. Start documenting all of your soon-to-be cases of anxiety, panic attacks, etc. Visit the doctor occasionally if necessary. You can use all this to build up evidence to support a disability claim if you find the workplace unbearable.

I have to report to work this month, but rather than ask vaccination status, they rely on Code of Conduct to have people wear masks if not vaccinated or vaccinated but not wanting to be unmasked.

No thermometers any longer.

Approx. size (number of employees and average annual revenues) of said company?

Sector (IT, automotive, agrochemicals, etc.) of said company?

It seems they can insist as a condition of employment.

You can refuse for medical or religious reasons.

Still, you’ll be treated as a leper. Maybe you can continue to work from home.

You're working at a private company. I'm not sure if you have rights unless you can finagle an HIPAA lawsuit.

Any longer - than what?!

6 inches? 8 inches? Oral thermometers, or what?!
