After their baby was born, the panicked father went to see the Obstetrician. 'Doctor,' the man said, 'I don't mind telling you, but I'm a little upset because my daughter has red hair. She can't possibly be mine!!'
'Nonsense,' the doctor said...'Even though you and your wife both have black hair, one of your ancestors may have contributed red hair to the gene pool.'
'It isn't possible,' the man insisted. 'This can't be, our families on both sides had jet-black hair for generations.'
"Well, said the doctor, let me ask you this.
How often do you have sex???"
THE man seemed a bit ashamed..'I've been working very hard for the past year. We onlymade love once or twice every few months.'
'Well, there you have it!' The doctor said confidently....
"It's Rust.."
Our daughter did that. At birth ash blonde. Then dark red. Then all fell out, came back in WHITE. I caller her a super natural blonde. Now she is 38 and her hair is very light blonde.
My baby brother has red hair, one sister was blond but turned dark as she got older, and another brother and sister with dark brown hair. My brother’s hair was a more orange color where mine was darker.
My hair also changed. When I was very young the really bright red hair was replaced by “strawberry blonde” (think red with blonde highlights sort of).
Anyway the bottom section was still red, but eventually it too changed. And the blonde tones got darker for a while, but now I have white and gray mingled in.
I’m gonna go get some Clairol and see if I can get back to what my natural color was. LOL
That’s the strange thing about mine. My dad had black hair but fair skin. I was told the Scots/Irish are from my dad’s side. We know nothing about my mom’s side. My grandmother said they are “black Irish” with fair skin and brown eyes. My grandfather’s side were Scots. My one sister has hazel eyes like Mom but the rest of us have brown eyes and fair skin.
Or white, as mine has. Any red I have left in my hair is so light it's almost non-disginguishable.
My red hair came from both my mom and dad's side of the family.
My mom was a red head, my grandmother on my dad's side was a red head.
I was the only child of four in my family to have red hair and the only one among all my cousins of the same generation to have it.
In my family, my youngest son has red hair, my oldest's hair has hints of red in it during the summer.
My younger brother has a red haired daughter. His other daughter is dishwater blonde.
My youngest brother also has a red haired daughter, the other is brown haired.
My older sister has a red haired son, the other son is light brown haired.
My red haired nieces and my red haired nephew along with my own red haired son are my favorites, of course.
Dated a red head when I was a young man, thought she was batshit crazy and swore I'd never date another red haired woman again.
Here I am, all these years later dating a red haired woman. She's fantastic this one. I think she's a keeper.

Nope!

So I found out. LOL! I corrected myself. 😎
