But, but, but....I thought eggs were bad for cholesterol? I wish they’d make up their minds.

A week or so ago I bought 18 large eggs at Krogers for 95 cents. That is crazy good food value.

Eggs contain cholesterol, yes, but it doesn’t stay cholesterol as it is digested and torn apart into its constituent parts.
Bread, Pasta, Rice, Pies, Cakes and Sugars are BAD for your cholesterol, since they contain the ingredients your body uses to make cholesterol.
The real culprits are triglycerides................

Is there any difference in an eggs nutritional value depending on how it’s cooked? Raw, boiled, baked. Overeasy or fried. Discounting the butter or oil used.

I make eggs benedict for the fam a couple of Sundays a month.
No one ever turns that down. Not even the pickiest eaters on the planet.
It’s basically eggs with egg sauce. Yum.

Glue a fried egg to the top of your head and run down the street screaming that the chickens are launching their attack.

Weeks ago someone posted an article with a tip from professional chefs where the secret to getting the shells to fall right off hard boiled eggs was to boil the water and then put the eggs in. The temp shock does the trick.

One large egg contains 6.3 grams of high-quality vegetarian protein
What? Vegetarian? Out of a chicken?
To: be-baw
"One large egg contains 6.3 grams of high-quality vegetarian protein"Isn't that somewhat of a stretch? Vegetarian-Really? I do love eggs, and agree with the nutritional value, but I never have considered them to be vegetarian.

I try to subscribe to a generally paleo/keto low carb diet. One diet tip I read a few years back was to get something in your stomach within 30 minutes of when you wake up - this helps kick start the metabolism, kind of like throwing the first log on the fire to get the fire going after it's been smoldering all night.
I don't know if there's anything behind it, but it seems to have worked for me. a lot of mornings, I'll wake up and just slug a raw egg or two with some turmeric.
I can attest that for me anyways, it does stave off any hunger to well into the lunch hour when I usually have a can of smoked oysters.
