Can the learned Freepers explain to me why it becomes anyone's business whether or not an individual has had the Covid vaccine. Certainly, this should be an individual's choice like every healthcare choice. Why is is not a HIPPA violation for anyone, employers, airlines, cruise lines etc to demand to see proof of vaccination (which is in essence a medical record?)

Well meaning people are being deceived. It makes me sick seeing people being misled at the risk of their life.
I went to the dentist this week for a cleaning. Everybody was in hazmat suits and face masks and plastic shields. I was told I had to wear a mask in the building. I asked how they were going to clean my teeth with a mask on. They didn't like that.
They also asked I had been vaccinated. I told them it was none of their business. They looked at me in horror like I was some sort of freak or something.
If this keeps up, I might not schedule to get my teeth cleanings. I can brush them, floss them and water-pic them on my own without all of the hassle.

There were 7-8 different things we got vaccines for 40 years ago. Now it's 21. Did a dozen debilitating diseases develop in the past 40 years? How many Amish and Mennonite people are there? (over 1 million) How many do you think are getting vaccinated for 21 different things? So much for a few weirdo parents.

Key word “experimental”. This is an EXPERIMENTAL.
We learned from the Nuremberg Code after WWII you cannot force people against their will to take experimental anything. Furthermore, you can not them basic life, jobs, food, service, etc... It’s criminal and a war crime if you do.
It also violates 2 U.S. laws (HIPPA and American fro Disabilities Act), International law, Geneva Convention and Nuremberg Code. It violates the 1st Amendment too.

Yes, if required to be vaccinated in order to start a new job by all means quote the Nuremburg Code and claim that it violates HIPAA and ADA when, in fact, it does neither. Your potential future employer will no doubt listen carefully, tell you that they’ll get back to you, and find someone else for the job.

Allowing the government to MANDATE medicine is an example of over-reach. It can be abused.
People seem to focus on the COVID vaccine being experimental, and therefore it cannot be mandated. Great.
The FDA can wave a magic wand, approve whatever it wants, and now God-knows-what can be mandated.

Although I think people over 70 with Lung, Heart or Diabetic issues should get vaccinated (which is as for as I go with recommending vaccines)the vaccine needs to remain and always be a choice.
Forcing any medical treatment for any reason opens up the door to some very ugly possibilities.
Forced Sterilization.
Forced abortions.
Forced surgeries of various types.
Forced death.

But it is allowed by the Constitution for the states/counties/cities to mandate vaccines.
Given that background, disclosure of "vax" status is a compromise of both PII and PHI. Add to that, OSHA just ruled yesterday that an employer who coerces taking the "vax" is liable for disability or death consequences to the employee. The federal law cited is in CFR 29. Business and individuals inside those businesses are jointly and severally liable for damages subsequent to a coerced "vax" direction to an employee.
