Exactly.

The more they push it, the less I want it.

I'm not an anti-vaxxer per se. I've had pretty much all the standard ones over my lifetime like polio, smallpox, tetanus, etc.

But this zeal by the government to get me to take this one is creeping me out. So I weigh the pros and cons.

I don't see any pros because even if you take it, you are still told to physically separate from others and mask up. Not that I do any of that unless I have to but that would be the case if I had the shot or not.

The only con I see is that I might get "flu-like" symptoms for a few days and food won't taste or smell as good for a while.

OK, I've had the flu before. And I'm not old and I have no "underlying conditions." So I'll take my chances and take a pass on this one, thank you very much.

Yesterday I was reminded why I prefer to go to the local bar after the morning news is over. Yesterday, I went there while the news was still on, and for a whole hour it was "vaccinations, vaccinations, vaccinations." They must have shown twenty or thirty clips of people being vaccinated, and it's like that every day. How many times do you need to see it?

Yesterday, they interviewed a couple of teenage Poindexters to emphasize the urgency of young people being vaccinated.

This vaccination thing has almost become a cult, and - if possible - it has made the left's authoritarian character even more evident than it was before.

And whereas the news media showed a lot of vaccination skepticism when Trump was still in office, as soon as Biden took over that all fell away and they eagerly joined the vaccination crusade, pimping it at every opportunity.
