I for one welcome our new robot overlords.
If you were wondering how they were going to confiscate guns and reduce the Earth’s population to under one billion, this is your answer.

    “Terrifying.”
My first thought was: Holy mackerel, that thing dances better than I ever could.
My second thought was the same as your post.

 "Hey look! Martians!"
They'll be the ones on that planet--not us.

Don’t know which would be worse: One of those little humanoid things kicking my arse with Kung-Fu or being chased by the giraffe dog.

Terrifying. Impressive? Yes.
Surprising? Somewhat; I hadn't expected such good balance and dexterity for a few more years.
Terrifying? Nah. It's a great demo, but it's all created, programmed, and tested by humans.
 I won't be "terrified" until a robot/AI autonomously:
- Creates a song that good.
 - Programs itself to play music and sing.
 - Performs the song.
 - Creates the dance choreography.
 - Programs itself for the dance moves.
 - Performs the dance.
 - WITHOUT ANY HUMANS INVOLVED.

 Not happening any time soon.

    **WITHOUT ANY HUMANS INVOLVED.**
That’s the problem.... humans that WILL be involved for inhumane purposes.

Proving - in my eyes - once again that in terms of Mars and other off world places, live-human exploration is unwarranted and unnecessary at this time.

    that is fascinating.
Billions had a show plot based on them wanting to invest in a robot. He was going to do it until the chick game in and blasted how they were hiding stuff about it’s movements.
