An article in the New England Journal of Medicine has suggested that substantive penalties be used to enforce compliance in taking the upcoming COVID-19 vaccine, including loss of employment.
The journal published an article on June 26 titled, Ensuring Uptake of Vaccines against SARS-CoV-2. They suggested that the suspension of employment would be a less coercive manner of enforcing vaccine compliance than fines or other criminal penalties.
The report states that state mandates should not be structured as compulsory vaccination (absolute requirements); instead, noncompliance should incur a penalty.

But if the private employer mandates it and makes it a requirement of employment, make up your mind whether you want to be forced to take the vaccine or exercise your freedom as an American citizen to go somewhere else to work.
I am retired now but spent my whole working career outside the military in the West which has right to work laws where you could quit your job if you didn't like your employer.
Since when did a Lefty medical journal think they could control people's employment and livelihoods?
They suggested that the suspension of employment would be a less coercive manner of enforcing vaccine compliance than fines or other criminal penalties.

Less coercive than what? The death penalty for refusing to take the vaccine?
I have no issue with taking a proven safe vaccine if I need it but not for something I have already recovered from all the while being asymptomatic.
just got into argument with relative with this attitude. Believes people are selfish killers if they don’t wear a mask all day.
My kid needs shots before going to school. I needed shots to get into college. But yall go ahead and freak out
Go for it! Hope it goes well for you. Your trust in Fauxchi and Gates is extraordinary. What about freedom?
No, you can't.
Requiring an employee to take a vaccine is a violation of title seven of the Civil Rights Act and can be a violation of the ADA.
Really I have to wonder how many of you people have ever read anything to do with employment law. You are cruising for a law suit.
Actually you do not need either.
You see there is this whole area called "exemptions".
People are so obedient to tyrants.
Accept the gift of "No."
Eventually the whole house of cards comes tumbling down.

True, that. But this Globalist bunch will insist on an RFID.....because that device includes the bearer’s entire health history, and probably their political leanings, etc. And I understand they are trackable by satellite. You can run but you can’t hide. Much like an ankle bracelet, but less obtrusive.
Hey, noob.
Which big pharma company do you work for?
Youve been doing nothing on these threads but shilling for them.
Threaten them with their social security and medicare.
[But this Globalist bunch will insist on an RFID]
I’m actually surprised that Walmart hasn’t forced all of their suppliers to get on board with RFID. I would expect that to be the next step. Maybe after they go to all self-checkout. I expect that, too.
This ad was on TV 13 years ago.

The RFID sensors are at the door, of course. I think they have to get excited (heh) to give up their information.
Anyone? Bueller? (oh that’s me) Nully?
So when the epidemiologist on TV was talking about the Moderna ‘vaccine’ going into Phase 3 trials with 30,000 test subjects, and said they will be monitored over the next TWO years to see if it’s ‘safe and effective’, but yet they’re talking about having the vaccine ready by the end of this year or the first of next year, it sounds like we’re all going to be ‘test subjects’ too.
Exactly! Dont tell me what I must do with my body by threatening livelihoods. That will be the death of this country.
I’m correcting misinformation and fearmongering with authoritatively sourced factual information. I’m doing so respectfully and without calling people names, adding value to the conversation.
Can you say the same?
I think there haven’t been a lot of good studies done on it yet showing whether it’s effective. It’s really sad we’ve gotten this far along in this pandemic without some well constructed studies to give us some more definitive answers about its safety and efficacy. The earlier studies claiming it was harmful or ineffective against COVID-19 were all poorly constructed and thus had no useful data to provide.
I think if you’re a high risk individual who is diagnosed with COVID-19, taking HQL early on with Zinc and a Z-pack is probably a wise move, even with the mixed data we have right now. Worst case, it doesn’t do anything for you and you get worse. Then you move on to other treatments that are available. If it helps, then that’s wonderful. My goal is always to preserve human life, from conception to natural end.
But nobody should take that as medical advice. As always, anyone who is ill should consult with their doctor to determine the best course of treatment for their specific situation, taking into account their individual medical history and current medical conditions.
I imagine you are still a worker bee, and not on SS or Medicare. I am a disabled veteran, with congenital heart problems, failing kidneys, and various appliances.
I am also one of the few of the 1975 Fort Dix/McGuire AFB/Dover AFB Swine Flu.
I would not take the shot on constitutional grounds.
No wonder numbers are escalating, they are injecting people with the virus and claiming it’s a vaccine trial.
