I want to share with you some scenes that greeted me at my local Kroger today.
These are scenes from a panicked populace.
Like locusts, they are stripping the shelves bare.
Kroger Toilet Paper aisle.
Kroger Deli Meat aisle.
Kroger bottled water aisle.
Go to Buc-EEs and reconsider your purchase decisions.

Ask to joint Laz's list...Bring Out Your Dead
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
The false positive rate was 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
If a quarantine saves just one child's or one old farts life, it's worth it.
Yup. Gonna follow you. Done.
isolate with a case of Corona.... The virus will pass by.
Yup. And dozens and dozens of FReepers, allegedly the most independent, well informed, and knowledgeable conservatives on Planet Earth running around pissing their pants.
BAAAAAAHHHH!
Ping to you guys
Thanks for posting. Too much normalcy thinking on the part of some people here. Glad you are caught up.
Exactly my thinking.
I always figured "pillage the dead" was the best
mentality to have in a worse case scenario.
It saves money as well.
LOL!
The flu is worse!
Kroger,,,
Karooooger,
Ha!
I just like saying that.
Me...being a tie dyer, made some nice masks for wifey and I using about four layers of material and felt inserts for filters that are removeable. As for food preps...we did that weeks ago. It is just the two of us. TP...wife has a thing for paper products so we are always well stocked in that department..enough for a couple of months at all times.
We live in a rather rural area of northern california. We do fairs for a living and are set to do our Spring swing in the southwest. One of our fairs has already cancelled for the year. Other events are being shut down. So, it looks like no money for the Spring...that means losing a bucket of dollars. Can we hold on until June? That is our first Summer fair...
\
Rest of our fairs are up in Washington...hopefully things will calm down there...
In any which case...we will survive...somehow.
Pingy ping ping*
As long as the beer isle is still full, I’m good.
Masks,
Yes
I’m good.
Oh that is feckin BRILLIANT!
