I received word from 2ndDivisionVet wife that he passed away.
I am not using his real name here out of respect but, will ping his handle and his wife can if she would like.
I didn't ask what he died from but, knowing him for better than 10 years, I knew of medical conditions and a few terrible Operations he had.
He was a wonderful human being who cared deeply for his fellow Americans and the ideals that make this country so great that people the world over want to come here and be free, live in liberty and be whoever they want
If you have ever spoke with 2ndDivisionVet, you know he was quick witted and wry.
What had always amazed me about him was not just his humor but, his ability to somehow take life in stride despite all he endured and be cheerfull.
He was amazingly resourceful in scouring the web for article we might find interesting.
Yes, 2ndDivisionVet really cared about all of us and our presence in his life gave him purpose
I really wish God had let him stay but, my thoughts are more selfish than the absolute knowledge that he is in a better place.
I hope to see him again one day.
Rest in peace and smile down on us 2ndDivisionVet
RIP, noble Warrior.
Prayers.
Rest in Peace, 2ndDivisionVet.
PING!
We will miss him, He greatly added to the conversations on many threads here.

It seems like only just yesterday I would see his name responding or making threads. I hope his family and loved ones are well.

My respects to a great FReeper.
Fred was a putz....
LOL
I’m going to have to call his wife and refer her to this thread, which is still generating love.
2ndDivisionVet was one my favorite FReepers. He will be missed.
Praying GOD’s comfort, rest, and peace for his wife and family.
Condolences to his family, and my prayers for his soul.
Fred was a good man and a friend...
Just seeing this for the first time.
Immediate response was “OH, NO!”.
I’m not a frequent contributor, more of a lurker, but always appreciated his contribution to any thread in which he commented.
God Bless him and rest his soul, and may his family be comforted in their grief.
OH, MY!

Carry on, brother Freeper....you will be missed
