star Christina Anstead on how she found love again with her husband Ant and her new HGTV show 'Christina on the Coast.'
Christina Anstead is letting fans join her on her postpartum journey.
The HGTV star, who gave birth to son Hudson last week, revealed on social media that she's been consuming her placenta in pill form.
First time Ive tried it and I think these placenta encapsulation [pills] are working," the 36-year-old wrote on her Instagram Story.

In the wild, the mother will eat the placenta so that predators will not know she has given birth. Newborns are a prime target of the predators.
Some dairy cows will eat it and some won’t. I did have one cow that could not digest it after she ate it and became quite septic.
It was made into pills.
Congratulations on birthing baby Hudson.
Horror grips us as we watch you die
All we can do is echo your anguished cries
Stare as all human feelings die
We are leaving, you don’t need us

She's publicly identified herself as an animal instead of a human.
It’s just soooooo Beldar Conehead ish...
No matter how you cut it....it’s cannibalism....and against the law.
Probably mostly to keep it from attracting predators. I wouldn’t think that a jolt of animal protein would hurt milk production, much. But, what do I know? Dairy cows were bred to crank out milk in a protected, artificial environment. Raising a calf has different requirements. Seed and nectar eating birds feed their offspring insects, as they need protein that the sdult’s diet would not provide.
A complete unknown is completely insane.
Gross. Just gross.
Placenta Worth Trying? Human Maternal Placentophagy: Possible Benefit and Potential Risks
Its been going on for centuries. Still very gross. I watched my wifes gynecologist inspect the placenta from my first child. He placed it under a large brightly lit magnifying glass and methodically stretch it out looking and sniffing it. Yes were talking nose almost touching it. When done he placed it in a tin pan with a clear liquid already in it. Im sure they save them either to sell or perform research on.
I never asked but he did offer it to me and told me some eat them. I politely declined and said wrong culture.
It’s almost as if replacing Jesus and wisdom with fame and leftism creates savages.
Christina and her husband became stars on HGTV through their show on house flipping called “Flip or Flop,” of which my mother and sister are devoted viewers. Even as the show won great success, Christina and her husband ended up divorced. She remarried, but then returned to the original show after her spin-off show flopped. From what I have seen, Christina is a dish to look at but is the whiny and complaining type.
Cant say I really care what celebrities do except when they STFU, which is nice.
I think it’s instinctive from their wild days to keep predators from smelling the afterbirth and attacking them since the newborn isn’t able to run yet. Wild animals do it for that reason and I think it’s a leftover instinct in domestic animals.

Hell, she should just have fried it up with some onions and chianti on the side.
Vets do that sometimes if they assist a cow in giving birth. It’s to make sure none of it is left inside because if it is massive infection will set in. It’s the same in people.
Must be a California thing. Eew!
