"The Sacred City presents compelling evidence that suggests the holy city of Mecca is in the wrong location and that the worlds 1.6 billion Muslims are praying in the direction of the wrong city. Compiling evidence from both historic sources and new technologies point to the correct location in this seismic, revelatory new film.
NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
We DON’T have to “nuke Mecca”......
They wasted all that money to stick their false shrine in a false location.......
Mecca is a colossal testament to a false concept....
The Rock is in Mecca so it doesn’t matter - the Rock is the key - the rest is just pay back - melt them
“the rest is just pay back - melt them”
If there’s a real war with Islam, the destruction of Mecca will be the least of their punishments.
Israel would fry their major cities.
Note to fishtank: We are in a real war with Islam. They are fighting the war by tactics outlined in the koran and other four Islamic holy books. Our leaders so-called are just too PC to fight it except around the edges it, and the Public is too propagandized or ignorant to see it.
I'm going to give the video another try -- I dozed off early when I had it on last night. Interesting in this context that Mad Mo berated the falling away of veneration for Mecca, showing that it was a pre-muzzie center of worship (which it obviously was). He stole and plagiarized most of his fake belief system, so it probably wouldn't be a shocker that the Nabateans (they built Petra, but were spread out over Arabia) had some kind of precursor practice of facing Petra in their pagan rites.
Revealer: Meda'in Saleh is perhaps the most important Nabataean site. The Nabataeans were an Arab people whose kingdom flourished throughout the 1st century. They inhabited northern Arabia and the Southern Levant.
Series explainer: Retracing Arab Footsteps "Ala Khota al-Arab" is a historical documentary show produced by Al Arabiya television channel, created and presented by Eid Al-Yahya. It is broadcast every Saturday on Al Arabiya channel. The program narrates the biographies of the most prominent Arab figures in history, and the deeply-rooted civilization of Arab ancestors, including documented events, incidents and stories that happened during their era.

Sorry for the duplicate, I've been having that problem the past few days.
I've been watching and/or listening to this one because I had to use Roku to view YouTube, and couldn't quite remember the name of the video. It's quite apparent that this one I've been watching is anti-Saudi agitprop. The narrator also said the stupid lie that Islam was the only group that uses a lunar calendar -- the Hebrew lunar calendar was plagiarized by the mass-murdering pedophile, Mad Mo. Anyway, I'm going to pass on the one you've linked in the topic post, there's a bunch of vids and pages about this, it's a reasonable guess that they're all coming from the same BS source. As far as the alignments go -- don't be sucked into the fiction that Islamic scholars were all about science. It's just as likely that they simply didn't have the competence to know the correct direction. I rate them all ahistorical, as well as being sectarian turmoil.
The Sacred House Of Allah- The Original Place Of The Kaaba
Okay, I found it on the related vids, and broke down and lanuched it. It's playing now. The narrator's even worse than the uncloseted muzzie that narrates the one I linked in #49.
The authorities in Saudi Arabia have begun dismantling some of the oldest sections of Islams most important mosque as part of a highly controversial multi-billion pound expansion.
Photographs obtained by The Independent reveal how workers with drills and mechanical diggers have started demolishing some Ottoman and Abbasid sections on the eastern side of the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca.
The building, which is also known as the Grand Mosque, is the holiest site in Islam because it contains the Kaaba -- the point to which all Muslims face when praying. The columns are the last remaining sections of the mosque which date back more than a few hundred years and form the inner perimeter on the outskirts of the white marble floor surrounding the Kaaba.
The new photos, taken over the last few weeks, have caused alarm among archaeologists and come as Prince Charles -- a long-term supporter of preserving architectural heritage -- flew into Saudi Arabia yesterday for a visit with the Duchess of Cornwall. The timing of his tour has been criticised by human rights campaigners after the Saudis shot seven men in public earlier this week despite major concerns about their trial and the fact that some of the men were juveniles at the time of their alleged crimes.
Many of the Ottoman and Abbasid columns in Mecca were inscribed with intricate Arabic calligraphy marking the names of the Prophet Muhammads companions and key moments in his life. One column which is believed to have been ripped down is supposed to mark the spot where Muslims believe Muhammad began his heavenly journey on a winged horse, which took him to Jerusalem and heaven in a single night.
To accommodate the ever increasing number of pilgrims heading to the twin holy cities of Mecca and Medina each year the Saudi authorities have embarked upon a massive expansion project. Billions of pounds have been poured in to increase the capacity of the Masjid al-Haram and the Masjid an-Nabawi in Medina which marks where Muhammad is buried. King Abdullah has put the prominent Wahabi cleric and imam of the Grand Mosque, Abdul Rahman al-Sudais, in charge of the expansion while the Saudi Binladin Group -- one of the countrys largest firms -- has won the construction contract.

IIRC, originally Mad Mo’ wanted his followers to pray in the direction of Jerusalem.

... Another note, I didn’t know until this week that Petra was the city known as Sela in the Bible, and it is the capital city of the ancient nation of Edom.
The Edomites made inroads against the Kdm of Judea, but were themselves pushed out of Edom by the Nabataeans.
Other than some pagan altars on some hilltops and such (those are very old) the Nabataean ruins are about the oldest thing still visible at Petra. They are Hellenistic, borrowing Greek styles, and dating from the period after Alexander the Great, and through Roman and Byzantine times. Calvin College (Grand Rapids MI) hosted a special exhibit of the art of Petra back when King Hussein was still alive, definitely was in my top two of ancient stuff that has come through GR.
The structures which were standalone (iow, not carved into the cliff faces) were (as the vids noted) partially or wholly demolished by the big quakes, and the Romans had seen the advantage of controlling the city for its convergence of trade routes, so the population became another dependency of Rome, and Roman styles started to predominate.
This shot helps indicate the sheer scale of the facade of the "treasury"; the page linked here has some interesting shots from inside showing the entrances of tombs discovered using ground penetrating radar.
Petra: The Treasury Mystery
They’re praying to a false god. Why would it be any surprise if they were praying in a false direction?
