I get it. If I weren’t from a cop and fireman family it would maybe be funny or not.

Thing is, this is no different than what is posted on places like DU and such.

Difference is, they stand together while we don’t.

I want to win the war and frankly don’t give a damn other than that.

So no I don’t find something that was maybe funny 30 or more years ago still funny today since it doesn’t hold up imo.

It just pisses me off that some TV show years ago set the stage for this stereotype and so called conservatives join in with the hollywood libs to perpetuate it when it only benefits the hollywood and other libs.

We used to have a Krispy Kreme in Puyallup but it was replaced with a Panera bread.

Better food but worse service.

Panera has very good coffee with endless refills for a good price. And good WIFI outside of rush hour. Not much in the way of hot food, and they have discontinued their muffin/pastry discounts. A blueberry muffin with butter is a much better deal with lunch for 99 cents than a cookie. A COOKIE. That's no discount at all!

A friend told me that he was on patrol and standing in a convenience store when a radio call came in that someone had robbed the store right across the street.

He got into a TV type foot chase, through backyards, over fences, tripping over toys. He managed to get a finger on the guys belt but the bad guy finally got away.

I said that was OK. “After all the other guy didn’t have 20 lbs. of gear on his belt, and you had the full box of donuts from the convenience store that you didn’t want to spill.”
