When it was ‘down’ for a few days a couple of years ago the Park Service closed the memorials etc in DC.
Where normally maybe one or two Rangers just ‘roaming’ the areas- when shut down happened, they had to bring in snow fence and EXTRA personnel to KEEP THE PEOPLE OUT.
They finally ‘gave up’ but still, instead of the few you normally see, ALL the sites had guards..
On NBC news tonight, they interviewed folks in FLA and this one woman was very upset at Trump because “now I have to wait longer to change my name (she is a newlywed) “. True. They also interviewed lots of others with similar crybaby concerns.
On a lighter side, from Seinfeld, Kramers life was destroyed because he couldn’t become a banker.....great episode.

They turned off the flow at Yellowstone Falls for the duration!

Grand opening of a new Speedway just a block from me...$5 coupon for any Cafe’ order.....filled up gas tank...finished Christmas shopping....strangers in store shared about their two dogs so proud of...helped old lady pick out gift for grandson...Christmas spirit everywhere....
But it was raining instead of snowing. Guess they turned off the snow machine.
I didn’t see a single train today!
I never left the house, but still.....
