If only it were this simple. It’s not.
Egg McMuffins are good too.
I have a friend who has high cholesterol and high blood pressure, etc.
A dietician was helping him change his diet. She told him: “You can have all the avocados you want.”
He replied, “I’ve already had all the avocados I want.”
Well good news for me is I get a lot of these from what my wife prefers in her Japanese cooking - with the addition of avocadoes.
What I didn’t see on the list is alcohol. Autopsy results of alcoholics indicate very little arterial plague buildup - though the livers took a beating.
All in moderation I say! So order up another round!

Most of these are low supply foods. If an article like this gets traction, the lack of supply drives up the price.
That is why foods have lobbyists...
Toss a few bucks at some journalists, next thing you know everyone is drinking pomegranate juice and your pomegranate farm is making bank.

I didn’t see ice cream, beer or bacon on the list?
I had two Avocados that needed to be eaten, so I will snack on them as I read the rest of the post.....
We bought some of these on sale for $0.39 per a few weeks ago. I think I paid 0.49 for the most recent batch.
I know which one I'd rather date, too.
"While the myth that fat is bad for your arteries has been debunked..."
"For optimal heart health, the American Heart Association recommends three to five servings of nuts per week."
Don't acknowledge the debunking of dietary fat on one hand while continuing to cite the AHA on the other. It's the AHA that got debunked along with dietary fat.
Get rid of the calcium with Vitamin K2-MK7 from natto or supplements. Study showed 6-8 weeks of K2 removed 50% of calcium buildup in mice.
I was told to go on statins. I told the doctor no I would try diet and exercise for a month. I cut back on bad fat (hydrogenated & refined soy/corn/canola), ate an avocado a day, and walked. I decreased the bad fat 23%. DR told me to keep doing what I was doing and no statins.
If you have a Trader Joe's nearby, you can get a bag of 6 small avocados for about $4.00. Great with some cottage cheese, spinach, vinegar and olive oil, salt and pepper.
(Or use it as garnish for your Denver omelet at breakfast!)
Four double whoppers with cheese work if you ask the kid to add a lot of bacon
There’s just something about green soap (what they look like and consistency) .....
Where’s bacon?
I realize this article is about food, but add lots of exercise, good sleep and stress reduction (hobbies, friends and prayer). You may live a long life. If you’re lucky.
Avocados look like a loaded diaper...ick. Pomegranates? Aphrodisiac.
