Months earlier, a man identified as the fictitious Cooper had hijacked a Seattle-bound flight and later parachuted out of a plane with $200,000, never to be heard from again.
“This letter is too (sic) let you know I am not dead but really alive and just back from the Bahamas, so your silly troopers up there can stop looking for me. That is just how dumb this government is. I like your articles about me but you can stop them now. D.B. Cooper is not real,” it reads.
“I want out of the system and saw a way through good ole Unk,” he writes. “Now it is Uncle’s turn to weep and pay one of it’s own some cash for a change. (And please tell the lackey cops D.B. Cooper is not my real name).”

I cannot count the number of times over the years when various investigators have said they had confirmed D.B. Cooper’s identity.
Well, at least it wasn’t Ralph Rackstraw...
He lost some of the money in the jump, or did he throw it away to confuse the searchers?...................

Now they can make yet another movie about DB Cooper, only this time they know the real ending...It can star Tom Cruise...or maybe Keanu Reeves...

It’s been a whole month since the last FR thread about D.B. Cooper’s real identity.
D.B. Cooper is actually Jimmy James, and he owns a New York City radio station among a lot of other holdings.
Ummmm ok. Rackstraw was cleared by the FBI...for what that’s worth
This is a claim, not a confirmation.
So this is saying this guy is still alive?
Everybody loves a conspiracy I guess, or in this case, a celebrity never actually dies. For instance, some still want to believe Elvis was abducted by aliens who brought him back to earth at some point. Maybe as this Rickshaw or whatever his name supposedly is.

He decoded “through good ole Unk” to mean “by skyjacking a jet plane,” using a system of letters and numbers.“And please tell the lackey cops” was decoded to mean “I am 1st LT Robert Rackstraw,” according to Colbert.
I call BS.
