I don't know too much about Jim Rickards, just found this to be an interesting video about the overall economy and some tidbits about what our government agencies are up to. The video is a 45 minutes long interview of sorts and discussion. Just posting in the event other are interested.
That video has been around for some time, and there is reason to be concerned....thinking more along 2016 as the problem, but could come sooner.
We are so screwed.
A collapse is coming.
The real questions are:
-when?
-how much warning will there be?
-how bad will the civil disruptions be regarding distribution of food and essentials; safety (riots etc)? Is a Kosovo type civil war possible?
-how will the government react? curfews?, martial law/suspension of the Constitution?, suspension of the congress? military coup?
The answer is, we don’t have a clue.
At some point there will have to be a world wide economic reset. Probably what will usher in a one world currency.
I don’t think hat China and Russia will go along with a one world currency because they absolutely don’t trust the Anglo-American-European establishment of the IMF. China and Russia would have to be on their knees to let this happens and I don’t believe that their leaders are included in this elite in a meaningful way.

Rickards has been saying doom and gloom for very long time.
It is like saying you are going to die. Yeah, sure but tell me when otherwise it is just irrelevant.
If a financial collapse is coming, can he tell me the month and year? Otherwise it is meaningless rhetoric to sell his product.
