In the year 3289 BC, Otzi trekked up the Schnalstal glacier in the Italian Alps. The Neolithic guy -- dubbed Otzi the Iceman, or Frozen Fritz -- wore a coat and leggings made of sheep's fur and moccasins made of cattle leather as he climbed, having just polished off his last meal: unleavened bread and meat.
Severely wounded by an arrow and possibly dispatched with a blow to the head by a cudgel, he died, his body froze and was mummified, and he lay in place for a very, very long time.

Actually they use the same techniques to try to ID dead bodies.
The faces they come up with based just upon a skull have quite often lead to identification because when you look at the face - it looks enough like the missing person to make the ID - and that is later CONFIRMED through DNA testing of surviving relatives and comparison to the remains.
They wouldn’t bother doing it if it didn’t lead to good results.
“Whats a negro”?
“Negro” is Spanish for the color black.
I use it throughtout the day to describe the color of my shoes, car, furniture, one of my kitty cats, etc.
Any other questions?
Well where do you recommend me purchasing physical gold ?
“Well where do you recommend me purchasing physical gold ?”
I have no idea about what you are yammering. Are you sober?
Young looking 5,300-year-old, eh?
Y’all be nice now. I’m from West Virginia, and most of my kin look like that. Come to think of it, we’ve been looking for Uncle Karl for a while now.
He’s a homeless dude from the Italian Alps. I don’t get the big deal. Do we think people looked like Klingons back then?
Dad?
I do recall hearing someone trying to claim Oetzi as a black man, but I think it was a non-scholarly Afro-centric kind of thing...don’t remember who it was who made the assertion.
I remember them, they were popular when Hula Hoops first came out
Oetzi has the same yDNA haplogroup (’K’) as Thomas Jefferson.
I named my negro slinky
Should have read ‘created’......not ‘recreate’. Implies knowing what he really looked like. BTW....I saw this guy on the corner last week. He had a sign that said “Will work for Beer.”
Daddy!
Looks like Merle Haggard!
It’s Willie Nelson!
So, a 90-year-old man was hiking up a frozen mountain?
No, I don’t think so.
Put a swastika tattoo on his forheard and it could be Charlie Manson.
5,300 years ago was about the time of Menes of Egypt, who united the Upper and Lower Kingdoms.
But while the Egyptians were building a civilization, Otzi was using copper tools - an innovation the “stone age” Egyptians wouldn't adopt until after the Hyksos invasion.
