During the 2008 Presidential campaign, "mainstream" media confused the public over whether Obama ever released any real proof of his claim to being born in Hawaii. The confusion continues. Jonathan Alter, senior editor at Newsweek magazine, told MSNBC's Keith Olbermann on February 20, 2009 that "The Obama campaign actually posted his birth certificate from a Hawaii hospital online."
But Alter lied, since "the Obama campaign" never "actually posted his birth certificate from a Hawaii hospital online." Remarkably, no hospital in Hawaii yet lays definitive claim to be the birthplace of the sitting President.
.. On the FactCheck.org website, the claim is made that "FactCheck.org staffers have now seen, touched, examined and photographed the original birth certificate." They only saw and touched the COLB. So FactCheck.org lied about this as well.
Why would Factcheck.org tell so obvious a lie and endanger the site's reputation? In August 21, 2008, when questions about the COLB began to reach critical mass and threatened to enter the public discourse, the mostly pro-Obama TV and newspaper/magazine media needed cover for their collective decision to ignore questions about whether Obama met qualifications for the Presidency set forth in Article II Section I of the Constitution. .. FactCheck.org helped stifle the birth certificate debate.
Under Section 57 of the Territorial Public Health Statistics Act in the 1955 Revised Laws of Hawaii (in effect in 1961), a mailed-in form (without mention of a hospital, doctor, or midwife) signed by only one of Obama's parents (who could have been out of the country or whose signature could have been forged by a grandparent) or grandparents, would be enough to set up a birth record at the Department of Vital Statistics. This meager birth record would then automatically generate newspaper announcements, and also, a computer-generated COLB in 2008.

Hey, James, do you get paid by the post or by the line or by the depth of the poop that you post???
Wait a minute!!! Are you calling James a liar??? Are you saying that an Obot poster on this forum would actually lie????
............................................................Nooooo. Say it ain't so!!!!
You're not lying, are you James???
ROFL! Just offering my two cents, FRiend. As a co-conspirator of Paul Weyrich’s Vast Right Wing Conspiracy, I don’t want all of us to sound too gullible.
So will they pay you to go to Harlem, N.Y. and report back to them about the Columbia CIA Treason trial???

I admit I do find it odd when someone camps on mocking a solid matter like this. It makes a guy wonder sometimes. I agree, it’s not solid outside the research, but how long can a dissenter ignore the truth?
But then I remember how conservatives had trouble with the Ron Brown Crash. It was inconceivable to me that people would disagree with Chris Ruddy about anything after his exhaustive research. But the truth made them uncomfortable I guess.
“Straight salary.” ROFL! Gutsy. You do realize that this will be filed and carefully cross referenced?
What is your job description???
Research and quantitative statistical analysis.

Doesn't that conflict with your "straight " salary???

Thanks for your comments.
It's been a very busy week, so no chance to respond.
I spent 15 minutes browsing through your archive.
At first glance, your politics are unknowable.
You post many articles of interest to Conservatives, but you never comment in them.
All your comments appear to be directed only at Birther style articles.
Strangely, in those comments, you often display a sense of satisfaction - even pleasure - at the legal, political, and ethical frustrations of Conservatives.
At any rate, I have a few comments of my own...
james writes...I could have sworn that conservatives have been demanding Obamas documents since he was first nominated by the Democrats.
Besides the Conservatives at Free Republic, World Net Daily, and a few other minor websites, no influential Conservative has demanded anything from Obama. Quite the opposite, I would suggest. Many well known Conservatives openly mock or condemn those who demand documents from Obama.
You appear to me to be a bit politically naive. Demanding full disclosure from candidates is pointless.
You missed my point completely. The political Left has artfully smeared all those who wish to see Obama's LFBC as fanatics or imbeciles. Taking back the initiative is simple. Every Conservative running for political office can voluntarily submit his own Long Form BC to his own local newspaper. As I pointed out, there is no political defense to "What's He Hiding?"
It is responsibility of the political opposition to any candidate to uncover that which is hidden.
Your idealism is admirable. Unfortunately, the political playing field is not level. The political Left dominates government bureaucracy, popular culture, education, news, and commentary, and America's courts can hold up or rebuff any legal challenge for years.
Did you really expect Bill Clinton or Mark Sanford to hold press conferences and announce that they had mistresses prior to the uncovering of that information by third parties?
No, and nothing in my comments suggests I ever did. I called for the routine political disclosure of "Documents," namely, BC's, school records, test scores, court records, passport records, financial records, etc. As a Conservative, I EXPECT Conservative candidates to tell me everything, not because it is politically helpful, but because it is ETHICAL. If a Conservative is afraid to disclose his past (like Bush and his DUI), then I do not want him to represent me. If Conservatives lead the way on "Full Disclosure," which is our completely instinctive way, then the rest of political America will be relentlessly pressured to follow.
If a candidate or an elected official isnt forthcoming enough, you have the right to vote against them.
A double shot of naive idealism. As to "rights," In 2009 America's courts and lawyers can torture our Constitution into any meaning they please. As to "voting," American Conservatism is being overwhelmed by demography. In 2009 America naturalized 1.8 million new citizens. 75% of them will vote for Democrats. 65% of their children will vote for Democrats. America's racial and cultural profile has been irretrievably moved Leftward since mass immigration began in 1985.

“His kindergarten records and the BC, that should be there, have mysteriously disappeared.
The BC he used to get into college, apply for loans and most definitely used for his passport. That wasn’t available?
Why couldn’t he just present the one he found among his mother’s belongings upon her death. He waxed on and wondered about it and his father in one of his books. Why not post that one?”
Sooooooooooo, you want Obama to admit that he is guilty of identity fraud, and defrauded the student loan program?
Good luck ;-)
Well that would be acting stupidly, if he did.
It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if Obama is guilty of multiple felonies.
