How difficult is it to pronounce "Orion"? During a March 23, 2009 speech on green energy, Obama manages to mispronounce it several times --- despite the fact that the firm using the name (Orion Energy Systems) had just finished a presentation to Obama a few minutes earlier.
He asks the crowd if he pronounced it correctly, and no one corrects him.

To be fair, given that he spent many years in Chicago, he may have just assumed it’s pronounced like Orion Samuelson’s name.
Who knows...maybe the Zer0 occasionally tuned into “Top of the Morning” in his community organizing days...
Obama has a good speaking voice which makes him sound competent. Just makes it all the more jarring hearing him make this kind of mistake.

Not even that, Japanese don't have a schwa for the final "o" sound. Neither afaik did the ancient Greeks. It's another example of O's misuse of words such as E-ron, Wellesley-an, etc. Complete ignorance.

Let’s face it, he’s a moronic klutz who would not be pushing a socialist/statist agenda were it not for the fact that he’s a moronic klutz. After all, what have socialists been really good at except destroying economies and killing people? It doesn’t take much intelligence to destroy in the statist way, just a belief that a wonderful new system will rise from the ashes and a ruthlessness to make it happen as quickly as possible.
Politically, Obama and other statists are to Western society what radical Muslims are to it religiously.

He’s definitely mispronouncing Orion but it sounded to me that he was asking the crowd if he pronounced Neal’s last name properly.
He pronounced it ‘or e un’ ... I would love to hear someone in that company pronouncing the company name apart from the affirmative action fraud-in-chif’s presence.
The genius thinks his shirts are made of orion.
