HOW TO STAY HEALTHY... DON'T CUT YOUR HAIR

A doctor claims his patients remain healthy because he does not cut his hair.
The medic, 79, made the link between healing patients and not trimming his locks more than 60 years ago.
Traditional Chinese medicine practitioner Peng Fu said: "I stopped cutting my hair and people started to get better."
"My medicine became more effective the longer I let my hair grow. Now I will never cut it."
The hirsute healer now has to carry his eight-pound mane rolled up in a bag on his back, according to the Austrian Times. It stretched nearly nine feet the last time he measured.
The doctor, from Suining in central China, takes his healing very seriously. He doesn't allow patients to touch his tresses and rarely washes them.

Over time, many of us have had regrettable hair styles.

Traditional Chinese medicine practitioner Peng Fu said: "I stopped cutting my hair and people started to get better." They weren't healthier. They just went to the clean cut doctor across town but didn't have the heart to tell Dr. Funky Hair why they weren't seeing him anymore.

Yeah, it looks as if it’s pretty matted, so the bundle of hair probably contains mostly fallen-out strands. And it looks as if some of his hair doesn’t grow all that long anymore since he has all that shag around his face. Poor guy.

My hair is past my waist and my mom can sit on hers. I know a lot of other women who have hair as long as ours. It is not that unusual.
However in this guy's case I would say that you are right. It may be that long but most of it is not "live" hair it is hair that has become matted to the point that it can not fall out.

I just realized yesterday that my hair is past my waist now. I’ve know a LOT of girls I grew up with, and a lot of women since then who have VERY long hair. I’ve even seen an entire church full of women whose hair was seemingly ALL at LEAST to their waist, if not longer.. (I can remember what denomination they were now...)
