Many years ago while hunting an acquaintance decided to relieve himself against a fence post, not noticing that the fence wire was on a standoff. Got the surprise of his life!
He said that for about three days he and his wife were sure it was all over.
But soon after that she became pregnant -- and he went in for his third vasectomy.

‘S true. A friend of a friend, and I remember the guy himself telling me the story. (This came up up because I had just put up an electric fence.) He also remarked that if this surgery didn’t take, he’d just have it removed.
