Now, for some fun questions to kick off tonights thread!
1. Have you been on a date with someone you met on the Internet?
2. Did the date go well? Did a relationship result?
3. Did you meet them on a dating site or elsewhere? Was it totally by accident or chance?
4. Do you have a funny, gross, scary, or otherwise entertaining internet dating story to share? Either one that happened to you, or someone you know.
5. Any funny or interesting meeting the parents stories?
6. Has meeting the parents ever caused a breakup?
7. And, finally, have you ever set up a backup scenario to get out of a potentially bad date?
Well, you are an attractive woman & have a great personality. Some women have a hard time being a team with women who are like you. It is very sad. They will find "other things" to jump on but bottom line is they resent you for your good traits - again a lot of this sort of thing is subconscious.
Hey, I am going to get my bath & sleep. Might do one refresh before I find Cali & get to sleep
Usually I reply . . . "If I were a Canadian, you might have a point." :-)
Good points - I think the important thing is finding a place where both of us can feel that we will be "our best" and yet neither of us feels insecure. In her case, the insecurity would come from wondering whether I might be up to something wrong. In my case, the insecurity would come from wondering whether she might falsely accuse me of something wrong.

"There's a guy at my company who thinks I've created a hostile work environment for him because I keep pointing out his technical mistakes before our employer invests millions in stupid or half-baked programs."
You too??
;-)
I think it's your screen name that fools people, LOL!
My movie came today. I'm watching it right now, taking breaks for FR from time to time.
Funny, when I was a kid, I remembered it being a lot better than this, LOL.
"Okay. Then we've now reached a conclusion to the lawsuit matter."
Atta boy! Just roll over.
What movie did you get?
Aw man, you caught me!!!
LOL Yep, me too! I've said of him that it's not what he doesn't know that scares me. It's what he's sure of that just isn't true. I've proven that point enough times that I don't expect that we'll speak again if we can help it. He's always wanted an assignment in Europe and finally has it. Separating us with an ocean seems to be an effective solution.
Aw shucks. Thanks.
Good point.
Let me get another Ian Tyson for ya.
Feeling a little feisty tonight, are we?
My car just had its 4th birthday! :-) I will have it paid off in a year! It hasn't given me any problems till now, though, so I can't complain.
I am looking for a 2nd car, one that will anger liberals in their hybrids! Haha! I'm thinking of the Cadillac Escalade ESV. And instead of renting an apartment, I may just live in there, too!! What do you think? :-)
I have moved but I'm not even close to being settled in. Tonight we are working on wallpaper in my daughters room. I am promising myself, I'll never move again!
It's odd, I didn't get a "fixer upper", it was all ready to move into and yet I have so much to do. Not just all the moving out and then moving in but there are so many things, this room has wallpaper, it must be removed and painted. I never knew how much work that was!! The only plus is my daughter is learning a lesson. She's worked on wallpaper for a few days... tonight, I'm doing it. Her mantra these days is "why would anyone pick wallpaper".
So....back to the topic. Ever met a guy on line? Good or bad?? I have a heck of a story but no time to tell. hehe He ultimately bought a Russian bride and brought her here. I was actually married to him for a year (two marriages, first one 24 years and then him). Good guy, but anyone who would pay a woman to leave her country for sex and a home, gotta have issues with that!! What really sucks is he was so patriotic!
This would take a lot of explaining...
I'm reliving a childhood memory.
It's a cheesy B-movie from the 70s called "Planet of the Dinosaurs." It was my favorite movie up until I was about 6 years old (I was obsessed with dinosaurs, as most kids are). Haven't seen it in all these years.
Watching it again is a hoot.
Yes. And sometimes people think Alberta is my mother's name. LOL.
