For the first time in 4 weeks, gasoline prices at the pump have dropped...a few cents.

An Iraqi Maj. General and his son were assassinated late Monday returning to Baghdad from Madain.

And the Cardinals met for the first day of their deliberations with no new Pope selected.

Boychild just came home with a certificate of outstanding achievement from work (Wallyworld), a small promotion & a decent pay raise. He's the first one from his group of employees (they all started right around Christmas time) to earn all this. I told him it's all that Army training; well, and him being him.;^)

I'm proud.

Emchild worked a 9 hour shift today (let me savor those words for a moment...............)

....ahhhhhhhh............

....including a couple of extra, because someone had to leave early. She's trying hard to make a good impression so she can move up whatever ladder there may be to move up at the bagel shop.:)

Older boychild conintues to excel at work AND just started ballroom dancing lessons.:)

We have what is collectively known as the worst BK Lounge in town right up the street. I've ordered burgers from there at the drive through and gotten them half frozen.

As for MickeyD's, I still like to get breakfast from there every few months, but their burgers are the worst.

I did try those new breakfast sandwiches that have those pancake like tops and bottoms and they aren't bad.

You: Everytime I open the freezer, the box of leftover Carville Ice cream cake comes tumbling out.

I took that as a message from the Ice Cream Goddess that I should have some.

Dog: Twice tonight a leftover hamburger has fallen from the fridge.....Its a message from Wimpy.....eat the hamburger.

That's funny! Twice today my cactus plant fell off a windowsill right onto my chair -- what do you think it is trying to tell me to do with it???? ;-))
