Hi, Marguerite:

Your "Washing the Cat" instructions aren't too far off from the way I would bathe my cat, Paula.

I'd put the cat in our big porcelain tub in the bathroom. Turn on the shower and close the glass shower doors to wet her down. Then put shampoo on my hands and wash her from shoulders to tail.

Paula would try to escape, but claws are useless on porcelain. No traction. She hated her occasional baths. Warranted only if she were very, very dirty. Or managed to get under one of my neighbor's diesel cars for the night.

To Paula's credit, she would protest loudly, though she never bit or scratched me.

I thought there was "lots" of poetry in this one.... :)

Just dropped aunt off at docs.. will pick her up after I drop another one at the beauty shop at one. Have about an hour to get some things done in yard.. shuffling relatives takes on new meaning....

I finally caught up on weekend thread last night before I slept.. such great contributions all over.. and of course went to the Dose to drool look.

Snugs you add so much to all the threads you frequent. Great comments & beautiful graphics. I have learned so much about my own Vice President from a wonderful English Lass.. and the trivia exchange between you & Johnny is such fun.
