It is used to make a cheap tower trap. Monofilament line works best. I'm too busy to splain the whole thing. My great grandfather taught me how to make the loop trap when I was a little boy.

We had a little rain here yesterday .... did Southern California get any of it?
The weather is beautiful today. The sun has been out and it has been warm. The temp is 59 degrees here at 5:30. Not bad for February 8th.

Yep .... the cow could be the bell of the ball or, after a couple of pails of fermented apple cider, the life of the party.

Hope you had a great Tuesday. Twas A-Ok, actually.
We got a letter today from Homeland Security / Immigration (INS) that my wife's interview for permanent residency is scheduled for the 24th of this month.
We're crossing our fingers, toes (and eyes) that she gets approved. :^D

Only Fourteen Years
Im looking at my Calendar, and ETs looking back,
Way back in 1983 that fella had a knack.
He didnt need a band-aid, or other medicine,
Just held a glowing finger up, and up zipped up the skin.
Fingers are salutes for us, this year just as back then,
And purple is the in thing now, to dip your finger in.
But back to this strange alien, and why hes here with me,
And why Im looking at some dates from Nineteen Eighty-Three.
That year began on Saturday, just like the current one,
And it was not a leap year, so when all is said and done,
The calendar I have in hand will serve me well this year,
For every date will line right up, as each month does appear.
For there are only seven ways to start the New Years play,
And only on the leap years do you need that extra day,
So fourteen calendars are quite enough, no matter how you age,
Just shove the old one in a drawer, and dont mark up the page.
I know the Nations printers will be annoyed Ive made it known,
That you dont need to purchase what you already own,
But think of all the Playmates who can give that happy smile,
Now that they realize they wont grow old for quite a while.

We're keeping our toes and fingers crossed too. I see no reason why she should not be approved for permanent residency.
Good luck!!
