The Sentinel
A lonely sentinel stood watch beside the welcoming abode,
For almost every hour since the last time that it snowed.
Hes been here in the darkness, and withstood the glaring sun,
It takes more than some cold to keep his work from getting done.
Hell be here for as long as Winter makes a threat,
His confidence is total, hes not been defeated yet.
With cool aplomb he smiles but hes forgotten just one thing,
Hell lose this pose and doff his clothes, and run away in Spring.

Will You Tell Them?
Read: Proverbs 24:10-12
Whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. John 11:26
Bible In One Year: Genesis 6-9
John, a friend of mine, was once addicted to drugs. Several times he nearly died. He was a broken man when he entered the Christian rehabilitation program that my husband and I established. By the end of the program, John had become a Christian.
One day as John strolled along a busy street, he began to see the bustling shoppers as God sees themdying people. He had learned from God's Word that those who die without Christ will spend eternity separated from Him. With deep concern, John thought, These people don't have to die!
We all need to see people as God sees them. But that revelation also brings responsibility. Solomon pleaded, "Deliver those who are drawn toward death, and hold back those stumbling to the slaughter" (Proverbs 24:11). He also warned that once our eyes are opened we can't pretend we don't know what to do. God, who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls, knows that we know, and holds us responsible to act (v.12).
Think of people you know who are without Christ. They don't have to die without Him! Jesus said, "Whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die" (John 11:26). Will you tell them this good news? Joanie Yoder
If we really care for those
Who live beneath God's wrath,
The gospel must be shared with them,
To turn them from death's path. Sper
Wanted: Messengers to deliver the good news.

Happy Birthday, Amy!
Everyone gets a birthday?
It isnt only me?
At least my mileage varies,
As far as I can see.
No one else seems to get old,
Before their year is done,
While my decrepitude seems rife,
With every passing sun.
So, Happy Birthday, Amy!
You sure do wear it well.
For you get better every year,
While I just go to bad rhymes.

I expect to see him on one of those "Wild On The Beach" episodes after Spring Break, possibly as a slushy.

I tried to lock my daughter in the closet during spring break, but she picked the lock, took the car, and cancelled my credit cards........
