Sleep Comfort Day, when this was the routine circa March 2003:
Stolen sleep, Day of driving, Night of noise, Count your blessings, fingers and toes....

DON'T CALL THEM FOXHOLES (and don't call them late for dinner):
Staff Sgt. Allen Tipps of Sparks, Nev., takes a nap
in his skirmish hole, as Marines prefer to call it.

Gustave Eiffel
(b. Dijon, France 1832; d. Paris, France 1923)
Alexandre Gustave Eiffel was born in Dijon France in 1832. He graduated from the Ecole Centrale des Arts et Manufactures, Paris in 1855 and joined a Belgian firm which specialized in railway equipment. He established an independent practice in 1864 after which he established a career as an engineer-contractor.
Eiffel was a master of elegantly constructed wrought-iron lattices, which formed the basis of his bridge constructions and led to his project for the Eiffel Tower. He was mainly recognized as an engineer and bridge builder.
Eiffel died in Paris in 1923.

Is that what "Sleep Comfort" day is? I couldn't find anything on it. I hear SSG Tipps has a wry sense of humor and is doing a parody on Sleep Comfort Day.

Evening everybody, I thought I was done shopping, LOL. Oh well, I'm tired but I think I finished shopping today... I think, not sure yet. I might have to check on Friday again.
Happy Lemon Cupcake Day.

I meant to ping you too, PAL. Glad you liked the music. :-)

Shopping? You're done??? Holy cow, I haven't even started and actually don't even plan to do any shopping until the 20th because that's when my AmEx bill closes out! Yikes! A big wedding right before Christmas isn't the best timing for the family budget! hahahaha
My family members are getting gift cards this year anyway. I have not had the time or energy to think past Dec. 11th. Thank goodness the wedding is over! I hope it's a few years before I have to be involved with another one.

I thought I was done, but I realized that I needed to buy a few more gifts.
I don't blame you. You must be feeling tired after the wedding.
