I received this email from campaign manager Mary Beth Cahill.

Mary Beth Cahill must be delusional if she thinks Kerry won the third debate.

As for Kerry competing in battleground states is refering to Oregon, New Jersey or Michigan?

Didn't MBC say Cheney's daughter's sexual orientation was "fair game?" Maybe MBC's sexual orientation should be up for discussion as well. She is definitely a visible member of the Kerry campaign.

I have important news that I wanted to share with you immediately. New polling shows that -- thanks to John Kerry's solid victory over George W. Bush in the final debate -- we are now competing in battleground states that many pundits had given to Bush.

On Wednesday, I told you that party strategists said they need our online supporters to contribute at least $4 million and that I told them you could make it $5 million. In light of this new polling data, it is even more urgent for us to hit this goal. We are now poised to compete in more places than anyone thought possible.

We are about to cross that $5 million goal. Your contribution could be the one to put us over the top.

We've got to make sure that John Kerry and the Democratic Party's message of hope, opportunity and leadership isn't drowned out by the increasingly desperate attacks of Bush and the Republicans who can see power slipping out of their grasp.

If we can make the Republicans play defense for the next 18 days, if we can force them to focus on states they thought they already won, then victory will be ours on November 2.

The midnight deadline is almost here. Let's get it done.

Thank you,

Mary Beth Cahill
Campaign Manager

Disingenuous (and delusional) desperate bid for money and to rally the base (ironically, could invite complacency).

So we are to conclude:

1. They either were either ahead in the battleground states previously and the debates have taken them back to merely competing. [This is somewhat unlikely.]

2. They were actually behind in the battleground states previously and lying about it and after the debates they are up to competing. [In this case they are liars about this topic so why believe their current statement.]

This seems like a no win e-mail that is merely an attempt to buckup supporter to stay with the homophobes?

Do the Demoncrats have this guy writing fund raising e-mails for them now?

My thoughts exactly. They are deperately trying to 'rally' their side.

3. They are dangerously low on cash.

Especially if a measly $5Mil matters.

Did Mary Beth forget to mention that since Kerry did so well, they won't need any more money and won't need to cheat at the polls. Loyal Democrats won't need to vote 'cause Kerry did so well, so just stay home and watch the results.

With all those lawyers running around the country shouting "Fire!" and looking for fraud anywhere but their own back yard. Sounds to me like the DNC's piggy bank is getting a bit anemic, JLS.

Time to make another donation to the RNC.

Jack.
