Email from my Mom (Jeannie)...
Friends & family,
I received this from a friend whose young son has served 3 tours in Iraq. I know there are so many soldiers over there that do not have anyone here at home to hear from. I have asked a friend over there now to please send names of soldiers who need mail. It doesnt matter what your feelings are about this war, our precious troops need our support.
Thanks to those of you who wish to send this soldier a note of encouragement. It doesnt have to be wordy or long. Just for him to be of good faith and courage and to know that we are thinking about him.
Love to all,
Jeannie
Subject: Marine needs e-mail
a Marine in iraq....he is north of Fallujah. He is an Arabic linguist also, and he is the only one. he has to go out on all patrols. Could you email him? He needs positive contact from all of us safe at home.
his email address is :- hm1dan@yahoo.com
please pass that along to all of our Marines.
in your first emails please put in the subject something like "Sierra Vista Marines, or "Friends of your Brother."
he is not having an easy time.
BTTT for support and email
Thanks for the ping MC, consider it done.

My family will write tonight.
You got it... emails on the way. Thanks Meek.
Thanks. :^D
I just sent him email!!!! God bless him and keep him safe!
I doubt this, but our Good deed may, in fact, take down his server as this 'request' gets propgating exponentially as folks e-mail THEIR WHOLE LIST, and then each of THEM do the same thing!!!

Hello soldier -
I don't know you - but I cannot express the gratitude and heartfelt thanks I want to give to you and fellow soldiers. There are so many of us here that appreciate your sacrifices. I wish you could experience the great amount of respect you guys get here - at least from the conservative crowds I tend to associate with. I cannot speak for those who choose to try to belittle and demean your efforts - Some of them I believe would leave their mothers or children to the wolves.
One day - millions of people will be greatful for what you guys are doing - just like millions all over the world are today for the sacrifices America has made for Freedom and liberty.
Please know that the vast majority here are grateful for sacrificing your lives.
Stay Safe

My limited knowledge of current deployment policy says that 12 months is the standard. Given the fact that we did not enter Iraq until early 2003, how is it that this individual could have served 3 tours there?
I will be happy to send him my prayers and good wishes if this is indeed legitimate........

Was he talking about Kerry and the leftist DemocRAT party or the Terrorists (some might argue they are the same;-)
