Time Out!
I think well need a time-out, to learn the rules some more,
No scratching at the couch, and please!, no puddles on the floor!
And learn to get along somehow, you mustnt hiss and spat,
I swear sometimes you act as if you were a dog and cat!
Each of you is in my club. You must obey each rule.
You are the students in my class. Im teacher of this school.
Now lets go at it one more time. I want you to play nice.
And pay attention, if you please. Dont make me say it twice.

Nothing Hidden
Read: 1 Timothy 5:24-25
Some men's sins are clearly evident . . . . Likewise, the good works of some . . . and those that are otherwise cannot be hidden. 1 Timothy 5:24-25
Bible In One Year: Proverbs 27-29; 2 Corinthians 10
A woman had been maligned and misrepresented by an envious co-worker. She was frustrated be-cause her attempts to confront her in private had only made matters worse. So she decided to swallow her pride and let the matter go. She said, "I'm glad the Lord knows the true situation." She expressed a profound truth that both warns and comforts.
Paul pointed out that nothing can be concealed forever (1 Timothy 5:24-25). This serves as a solemn warning. For example, a news report told about a highly respected person who was arrested for crimes he had been secretly committing for years.
Yet the fact that nothing can be hidden can also be a great consolation. I have known people who never held a position of honor, nor were they recognized for their service. After they died, however, I learned that in their own quiet way they had touched many lives with their kind words and helpful deeds. Their good works could not remain hidden.
We can hide nothing from Godthat's a solemn warning! But it's also a great comfort, for our heavenly Father knows about every encouraging smile, every kind word, and every loving deed done in Jesus' name. And someday He will reward us. Herb Vander Lugt
Be strong and to the will of God be true,
For though your book of life be sealed,
God knows what lies ahead awaiting you,
He knows when it should be revealed. Anon.
Neither vice nor virtue can remain a secret forever.

THE CLINTONS AND BASEBALL
During the previous administration Bill and Hillary are at a Yankees Game; sitting in the first row, with the Secret Service people directly behind them.
One of the Secret Service guys leans forward and says something to Bill. First Clinton stares at the guy, looks at Hillary, looks back at the agent, and shakes his head violently.
The agent then said, "Mr. President, it was an unanimous request from the owner of the team down to the bat boy."
What really gets Bill going is when the agent tells him the fans would love it!
So Bill just shrugs his shoulders and says, "If that is what the people want."
Then Bill gets up, grabs Hillary by her collar and the seat of her pants, and drops her right over the wall into the field.
She gets up kicking, swearing, screaming, and the crowd goes wild. They're cheering, applauding, and high-fiving.
Bill is bowing and smiling, and leans over to the agent and says, "You were right, I would have never believed that!"
Then noticing the agent has gone totally pale, he asks what is wrong.
The agent replies, "Sir, I said, they want you to throw out the FIRST PITCH!"

If you watched J. FlipFlop Kerry in Las Vegas yesterday, you saw another fumble. I didn't see it, but I just saw a thread saying that FOX Reported this morning that
HUNDREDS walked out of one of Kerry's speeches yesterday.

The Oath of Citizenship
I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God. In acknowledgement whereof I have hereunto affixed my signature.
In some cases, INS allows the oath to be taken without the clauses:
"
that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by law; that I will perform non-combatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by law
"
More information on the Oath of Allegiance can be found in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 8 (Aliens and Nationality), Chapter I, Part 337 (8CFR337).
[Ed. Note: The Oath applies also to all officers in the Naval Reserve who might consider negotiating with our enemies on Paris vacations, even in the 1970's.]
