Time Out!

I think we’ll need a time-out, to learn the rules some more,
No scratching at the couch, and please!, no puddles on the floor!
And learn to get along somehow, you mustn’t hiss and spat,
I swear sometimes you act as if you were a dog and cat!

Each of you is in my club. You must obey each rule.
You are the students in my class. I’m teacher of this school.
Now let’s go at it one more time. I want you to play nice.
And pay attention, if you please. Don’t make me say it twice.
