It's here, the power keeps going off then coming right back on. Have to start the computer back up each time. The eye of the storm is veering this way now so I may get knocked off for good.

Was watching the cows next door running around in the pasture, felt sorry for them.

That's what ours did. It went off and on and finally went out for a long time. It wasn't too bad. I got a lot of cleaning, reading and card playing with the family done. :) Prayers for you, Mike and Daisy. Is he on call or at work now?

He's home sick with a sinus infection. Just happy to have him here...it's really getting bad here now. Was kicked off three times while trying to make a reply on another thread. The first, no second time someone has been rude to me here.

Wow, that sounds exciting, Amy! How's Marissa doing? Do you still go a walk in the evenings?

I haven't been doing much walking ..... but I did play hide and seek this afternoon. :)

I need to start walking again so I can get around DC without having to stop every block to catch my breath. :)

Marissa is doing fine but she is kinda independent. She is her own person .... not sure how this is working in pre-school.

This afternoon she was telling me about following directions. When I tucked her in tonight, she said "Teacher said 'Marissa, you are not following directions.'" ..... Sounds like she did it her way again. (Maybe she's related to Sinatra:)
