You're welcome. My day has been so-so because of my hay fever.

You must be good with plants to have an African violet.Actually, I just got the african violet yesterday. I've never tried growing any before. So we will see if this one survives living with me.
What plants do you have at home?
I have a couple of philodendrons, a couple of mother-in-law tongues, a "fat plant" (I have no clue what the real name of it is, but my uncle gave it to me and that's what he called it), and a "Swedish vine" that is a start off of a start off of a start off of this vine that my Great Grandmother brought over from Sweden. I also have a euphorbia plant that my uncle gave me, but I let my dad keep it because I'm afraid I'd kill it somehow. It's a very touchy exotic plant. Maybe I can find some pictures...
When I was young and single my plants were kinda like my pets
I kind of think of my plants as pets too. I thought about getting some fish since they are the only animals I can have in my apartment, but I haven't gotten any yet.

Hi Victoria! Thank you for the poem.

I'd like to go to Hawaii too. Actually, I'd just like to go on a vacation somewhere...almost anywhere. I haven't been on a vacation for more than just a few days for quite some time now. And even those weekend get-aways are few and far between.

Hi Tulip, we've been playing the cat a mouse game - LOL. How's it going?

Tomorrow is my first day back in front of the classroom! See? I was waiting for you to wish you luck. I'm doing so-so, taking Claritin for my hay fever. It was bad last night, but I'm feeling better today. It's the time of the year, you know.

I was waiting for you to wish you luck.Thank you. I'm not nervous about getting up in front of 80 people and talking...I'm just a tad bit nervous about the fact that it's a new class for me. I've took a class similar to this when I was an undergrad, but it's been a while. LOL!
taking Claritin for my hay fever
I'm sorry about the allergies. I'm sure it's not pleasant.
To: Alberta's Child
LOL, I have the same problem.

And now I'm having problems with my internet connection as well.Is it dial up?
I have dial up through the university. Once the students get settled in, the line is going to be busy more often and it will be difficult for me to get throught at times.
To: tuliptree76
Is it dial up? No, it's not. I should be going to bed now.
Nighty night, Tulip. It was nice seeing you around.
