Yep, Dial Up. I live in the Appalachian Zone in Southern Ohio, its where my office is located. Dial Up is the only viable option.

I have Direcway at home.....which is why I don't post from home.......satellite internet access is a con game in my opinion.

Bummer. I have DSL at home since Mar 04 ,was dial up til then and I am on a PRI at work. I used to hate to get pictures in email at home.

At home I have a brand new Dell with Flat Screen monitor and Killer sound. I bought an HP flat top Printer Scanner. But I don't have a digital camera yet.

I've got a killer rig at home, with unbelievable surround sound, scanner and digital camera.

Haven't booted the sucker up in months. The constant (I mean continuous) pop up ads, even when I'm not using the internet have rendered it a worthless 8K pile of paperweights.

I gotta stop posting about it....just pisses me off.

Have you tried using spyware removers, such as Adaware, to get rid of those popups? I scan my computer about once a week to make sure there isn't anything on it. Also, is it a windows XP machine? Windows came up with an update to help fix the pop up problems.
