After he has all of his shots, I will try to bring him but I will need some help with him if I bring Marissa also.
She likes to wave the flag so she will have fun. Louie/Max likes attention so he will have fun!

I will try to bring him but I will need some help with him... I would love to help with him. I can handle a lab, especially a lab puppy. :-)
Is Marissa back with you again? I'm sure they would both have fun if you brought them.
Is there going to be a rally on the 6th? JK has tentitively marked it off on the appointment book.
To: Mama_Bear
I've been telling everyone that we will have a rally on the 6th. It will be great to see you two. PatriciaRuth will try to be there.
Marissa is back. I don't know what is going on. She will be at the rally but I don't think I can bring Louie/Max yet. He will need one more shot before he can leave the yard.

The Boy and his Dog
The boy and his dog make a glorious pair,
No better friendship is found anywhere,
For they talk and they walk and they run and they play
And they have their secrets for many a day,
And that boy has a comrade, who thinks and who feels,
Who walks down the road with a dog at his heels.
He may go where he will and his dog will be there,
May revel in mud and his dog will not care,
Faithful he'll stay for the slightest command
And bark with delight at the touch of his hand;
Oh, he owns a treasure which nobody steals
Who walks down the road with a dog at his heels.
No other can lure him away from his side,
He's proof against riches and station and pride;
Fine dress does not charm him and flattery's breath
Is lost on the dog, for he's faithful to death;
He sees the great soul which the body conceals,
Oh, its great to be young with a dog at your heels!

"A Boy and his Dog"
I got back late last night after attending a wedding in Indianapolis and will not get my two faithful mutts out of storage until this afternoon. That poem just makes me miss them even more. P & P knows how to hit the soft spots! Thanks Amy and all.

Does God Love Me?
Read: Romans 5:6-11
We love Him because He first loved us. 1 John 4:19
Bible In One Year: Psalms 26-28; Acts 22
It's not easy to understand the depth of Gods love for us. Because of our pride and fear, we fail to grasp how undeserving we are and how free His love is.
At times I struggle with pride, so I tend to believe that I have earned any love I receive. Pride tells me that I am loved only when I am lovable, respectable, and worthy.
At other times I feel the tug of fear. Deep down inside, I know that I dont deserve the love I get. My motives are never pure, and I fear I will be rejected if they are exposed. So even while I am basking in acceptance, I live with the fear of being unmasked, revealing that I am much less than what others think me to be.
When I consider my relationship with God, therefore, I tend to feel that His affection for me is based on my performance. When I do well, He loves me; but if I foul up, then I expect only His scorn.
Yet God does not love us because we deserve it. He loves us in spite of what we are. In 1 John 4:10 we read,In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son." Because of what Jesus Christ has done for us, we know we are always loved by God. That simple truth shatters our pride and dispels our fear. Haddon Robinson
Oh, such love, my soul, still ponder-
Love so great, so rich, so free!
Say, while lost in holy wonder,
Why, O Lord, such love to me? Kent
No one is beyond the reach of Gods love.
