Yep, 10% off making it $69 isn't much of a sale...
Did you see the other 2 that I sent you today? The prices on them were much better.
I had fun shopping for you, and just cuz you're so darned hard to please doesn't mean I'll give up shopping for you!
Enjoy your trip, fill us in when you get back!

You may be one person in the world, but to one person, you are the world.
What if that one person is no longer in the world?
(Blatant chance for repost of a picture of a piece of my artwork, which you've all already seen, but this time held by my dear Christopher...)

Evening friends, good to see you all.
JUMP ROPE
We found a rope my two friends and I.
Long enough to reach the sky.
From end to end two held it firm
And flipped it up and made it squirm.
The two on ends with grips of steel
Gave the rope a twirl, then a reel.
They flipped it up, then round and round
'Til bees were asking, "What's that sound?"
It looked amazing to see it twirl
My friends dared me, "Give it a whirl!"
So as it turned, I leapt inside
The whirling rope. Took it in stride!
The faster it spun, the faster it went.
The quicker it turned, the quicker it sent
The jumping, the skipping, the turning, the spinning
All merging in one 'til I started grinning.
Then giggles and laughter,
And silliness, thereafter,
Caused me to tumble,
Feet and rope in a-jumble.
We rolled on the ground. We rolled all around.
The joy that we had with the rope that we found
Was simple and fun, as fun as could be
With a rope that we found, my two friends and me.

Vacation? Oh man, you're lucky, lol. I haven't had a decent vacation for the last couple of years
. I mean like 2 months vacation, I had 2 weeks for Christmas and 2 weeks for Easter so I am not complaining, LOL!
Thanks for the lovely flowers, Lori.

What if that one person is no longer in the world?
Can a person no longer be in the world?
So far, everyone who was ever born on Earth, and died, is still here.
The physical part, anyway.
Spiritually, our souls may travel many galaxies, many universes, many planes of existence, or they may have no more substance than what we see in a mirror.
All of us are doomed to dissipation, or perhaps eternal life.
Is Anne Frank no longer in the world?
She is here.
Her shy smile looks back at me inside my mind. Her words of hope and faith live on in me.
And I am not alone. She lives on in millions, and in millions yet to be.
Doubtless there are many who have gone into the darkness, and the deep, with scarcely a ripple, but they are not gone utterly. That is impossible. The bright and burning flame called life has never been extinguished from this puny ball of dirt, perhaps it may never be.
And as long as life exists, those who were alive, live on in it.
For many warriors die within a battle, yet the battle may be won. Did they win? They died, but they did not lose.
In just this way, those that have lived, live on. As long as there is life, there is ... a victory over the darkness.
And if she lives, he lives. No one comes into this world without effect, or leaves it without having touched a thousand hearts. We can weep for our lost children, but we know that they were here.
And the heart that is touched, touches others. The world is better off that he was here, even for the shortest time. We miss him.
And perhaps the part of what we are that he was fated to be, is not so far from any other course. He could have lived four score and ten and not have touched so many hearts.
Two little girls died in airplanes before they were ten. One was a friend of the Russian Yuri Andropov. The other was a pilot in another plane. They are not gone. They live on my memory, and in our history, and in our hearts. ... Like Anne Frank. Like your beloved.
They live on in us. We will live on in others.
A thousand years from now, love will be going on. It will be our love. Her love, his love, your love, and mine.
Love will not die. They are not gone. ... They continue.
