I liked that version of the Lord's prayer, but when the Lord speaks to me it is usually much more gentle than that.

LOL! Unfortunately, the Lord has had to "whack me upside the head" on occasion to get my attention. I am deeply grateful that He did for now I am back on the right path and He can speak more gently. I am much more tuned in thanks to His grace and mercy.

"How do you know all this stuff?"

Most people would be too proud to take the obvious bait.

A cheer for impetuousity! Anyway, over at the Astronomical Picture of the Day, there's an article concerning the latest theory about the origin of our Solar System. Interesting reading, which I won't reprise here except to say that the beginning may have been a bit more cataclysmic than previouslyA-Lurker -- oops -- previously thought.

I read that, and now it is stored in my memory, subject to recall a year, or five years, from now, if someone should ask a triggering question.

In this way, I accrete information, layering it on previous data and observations. I suppose the trick is the data recall reliability, with which I cannot help you, except to note that practice there, also increases capability. That and good nutrition.

I also try to resist the urge to pontificate on subjects where I have limited information, and speak up only when I feel I have something to add. My listeners may not always agree, but that is my intent.

Proofreading is for the faint hearted.

BTW I get clobbered with pop-ups everywhere I go on FR today.

Oops! Ya mean I wasn't supposed to ask? I'm too stupid to be that proud.

impetuousity - do you mean impetuosity?

"...do you mean impetuosity?"

Yes. Not to be confused with impertinence.

(Hard to proofread when you're bored.)

Oh, dear, that's horrible. But I think a cure is right around the corner. Meanwhile, take plenty of zits medicine.

impulsive vehemence or passion - yes, that is sometimes me, gets me into trouble too.

1 : not pertinent : IRRELEVANT
2 a : not restrained within due or proper bounds especially of propriety or good taste
b : given to or characterized by insolent rudeness

- um, yes, that would be me at times too, more trouble.

GArd Hard to do everything when you are tired.

So what was that you were trying to tell us about spiders making goats milk somewhere out in the solar system? Or the Milkway is really a giant spider web? Or you are a rock star and you have spiders in your goatee? Or something?
