I ask them to test, I don't require it.

Most often the three are inextricably interwoven.

The Irish I know 'celebrate' with booze as often as possible.Same here. I'm mostly Irish, but darned if I could keep up with them. : )

Good afternoon, Hooligan Bro. Did you play hookey without me yesterday? Nope! I was busy as a bee. : )
Hope your St. Patrick's Day was green and gold!!
Don't know about the gold but the beer was green. : )

Very interesting site! Thanks for finding that and posting the link. I was but a wee bonny lass in the 60s, so I've never owned a paper dress. But, I do have a windbreaker type jacket that is made of some wierd paper/nylon-ish blend!

Hey CG, what part of AL are you in? I'm your next door neighbor in GA. My mom lives in Wedowee, AL. Do you know where that is?

Thanks, Jen.
That paper dress stuff reminds me even more why I never miss the 60's. As if Kerry isn't reminder enough!
Still plugging away, happy for the free-lance work and the occasional *freeper beep* in the background.
How's the girlie paint biz? That eyeliner is the BEST. Doesn't even smear.
Now, why can't Kerry do that?!!!

I am not about to put on a dress, paper or otherwise, but you ladies can try this out. We gents will retire to the sidelines and have a few margaritas and shout encouragement.

Now THERE is an inviting lead. We can't wait to hear the rest of that story!
A moose once bit my sister's paper dress
And found it much too tasty, you would guess
It gulped her outfit down, from top to hem
While all the boys were cheering -- shame on them!

Good evening, Jen.
I'm happy you stopped by to keep us posted on the job. Is this a daily or a weekly newspaper? By the time you are there a month, you will wonder what all the stress was about.
Have a great night and a fabulous Friday.

Good evening, Bro.
If the beer was green, it must have been a pretty good day!
I was wishing you gold because I was sure you would share a little of it with your Hooligan Sis. :)

We publish 5 newspapers for 5 different locations, once a week. So, it's nearly as much workload as a daily. Plus, we publish a monthly women's magazine. And, we publish quarterly "Fact Finder" tabloids. It's a lot of stuff to keep track of because each publication has different deadlines, ad sizes and requirements. And, my department maintains our website. It's a LOT to learn. Plus, remember I've been thrust into a management position without much overlap of the gal who was just fired - AND you can imagine the resulting mayhem (and rumormongering) that caused! This is a fairly small company and it's been YEARS since anyone was let go or even quit.
Thanks for your interest in my life! :)
