MS NOW's Nicolle Wallace criticized President Trump's "extraordinary deception that needlessly exposed respected members of the White House press corps to a potentially deadly Iranian missile strike as he departed Turkey. His claim is that he was 'just doing what my Secret Service bodyguards wanted me to do' when he secretly was smuggled off Air Force One and onto a nondescript military plane is okay, as far as it goes. What he didn't do was warn the folks who thought that they'd be flying with the President that they would be on the decoy plane. His willingness to risk the lives of these innocent people is another example his callousness and incompetence."
In an interview on NewsNation with Katie Pavlich, veteran newsman Bill O'Reilly called Wallace and other media figures complaining about the ruse "fools. They don't know how it works. They don't care how it works. All they wanna do is bash Trump all day, every day. The Secret Service has to protect the President. If you're covering the President you are voluntarily putting yourself in the danger zone. You can't expect to get advance notice of measures deemed necessary to protect the President."
Pavlich chimed in "that's the job they sign up for. They should stop whining about it."
"I'm not buying that excuse," Wallace said. "Every life is equally precious. Trump had a duty to clue in the members of the press so they could avoid being exposed to unnecessary risk."
Ronald Kessler, a journalist who has written extensively on the White House and Secret Service called the ruse "standard procedure. There's a long history of strategies to mislead anybody who might be trying to harm the president. Given the animosity most of the press corps has toward President Trump, I think an advance warning would immediately have been publicly reported by one or more of the forewarned reporters, undermining the effectiveness of the ruse strategy."

Dear media lookatmes, hogwash!
President Lincoln’s use of steel top hat for theater visit puts actors and reporters at risk.
Media: “Because it’s all about us!”
apparently it hasn’t dawned on the “brain trust” media types that flying on AF1 puts them at risk at any time! in olden days media flew on charter. they are welcome to return to that.meanwhile the Secret Service will protect the president.
The media conveniently omits the fact that both Rubio and Bessent remained on the plane, too.
Ohmygod satire..
Cry Harder
Just think about it.If the Iranians had been successful bringing down the new AF1, we could have eliminated the fake news for at least 2 years.
Now the MSM is whistling past their graveyard yet again ! The 1st amendment establishing free speech does not require protection of the press as they speak.
“Just think about it.If the Iranians had been successful bringing down the new AF1, we could have eliminated the fake news for at least 2 years.”
And (allegedly) on 9/11, Flight 93 was headed for the Capitol Building while the critters were in session. Just think about it. If the Muslims had been successful ...
Actually the media people are a danger to the president and should not be permitted on any transport with him.
The media flys on Air Force 1? Hope they are paying for first class tickets; tax-payer money should not be used to transport non-government personnel.
Because, well, gee, the press is MUCH more important than the President… think of what a devastating loss to the nation it would be we lost a handful of Leftard reporters…
Adds a twist to the old adage ‘spilling the beans’ .
The fake news hasn’t a clue, why would our President trust them with his security details?????
These fools know the rules, as well as politians and govt employees from VP down, you are expendable the president is not.
If the press had been warned the first thing they would have done is expose the president.
No matter how much you hate the media, it is not enough
Agreed, but it won’t be a bomb, theu are to self absorbed for thar
And if he kicked their asses off the plane Trump would catch hell too.
My first thought is to say ‘ya can’t win with these TDS infested morons’ but on second thought….WINNING!
So?
