Hugh Gallagher explored what he called FDR’s Splendid Deception in his 1985 book of that title. In the title Gallagher was referring to FDR’s concealment of the polio-related paralysis that struck him in 1921. Gallagher was also a polio victim who understood the pain underlying Roosevelt’s efforts.
Researching the book, Gallagher found that among the 35,000 photographs of Roosevelt at his presidential library, only two featured him in his wheelchair. Media of the day cooperated by ignoring his polio. Roosevelt himself went to extraordinary lengths to convey the impression that he could walk.
“[T]he overwhelming fact about [FDR] is that he was horribly crippled, and yet through sheer persistence and will, rose above his lower body” — so wrote my teacher Jeffrey Hart in his memoiristic history of America in 1940, From This Moment On. Hart added: “In rising above his crippled body and seeming to walk again…Roosevelt told everyone that America rise again and walk too.” Put to one side that we had to rise again in 1940 by overcoming Roosevelt’s domestic policies.

He actually spoke somewhat coherently. Not now. The Democrat problem is not hiding Harris, it is dealing with her incompetence. Biden is too brain addled to assert his presidential authority. He meekly obeys his aides, even those dressed as Easter bunnies.
Harris won't. Her inferiority is unequaled. The only thing superior about her is her ego. She will take no orders, and the orders she gives will all be wrong.

Of late Biden exhibits both the empty stare and open mouthed toothy grin so characteristic of advancing dementia. Worse still is that for major speeches like the recent SOU he appeared to be drugged, likely with stimulants. It is painfully obvious that Biden is not well and mentally and physically incapable of being president and commander in chief. To think he is again running for President is is incomprehensible, yet the media ignores the obvious.

It is just pathetic (with the negative connotation of the definition of that word explicitly in mind). I would say it is sad, but there is nothing sad about it because it is deliberate, and Biden himself is willingly complicit in this stupidity.
I have said this many times, and will say it again here: I, and many others, would normally feel significant sadness and pity at watching the deterioration of a person taking place in real time in front of our eyes, the visible changes for the worse taking place at a pace that it cannot be ignored.
It is what happens to many of us should we live long enough. Difficulty ambulating. Cloudy perception. Scrambled speaking. Inability to cognate on the fly. Lashing out in anger and frustration at things.
Who hasn’t seen this in a friend or loved one? You would have to be made of stone to not feel sadness and pity.
But in the case of this despicable person and those around him propping him up with their hands, modifying his activities, and trying to cover up his infirmities and limitations, there is no pity on our part, no charitable quarter we can give.
They persist in this cruel treatment of this diminished man so that they can continue to use him as the empty vessel into which all their malice and open hate they have for this great Republic can be poured into in order to deliberately destroy our once great nation so that they can remake it in their own, putrid, corrupt, tyrannical image.
And his wife-his OWN power-hungry wife, the one who should be protecting him as he regresses to a thumb-sucking, diaper-filling piece of human refuse, instead props him up like a plywood cutout so that power can be exerted under his official “Presidential” aegis. I can think of few things more disgusting, selfish, and grasping on the part of a person than to have someone who would do that to a spouse, to use them as a tool in that manner.
I feel much the same way about James Biden. He is doing exactly the same thing as Jill Biden, and the disgust I feel for him approaches that I feel for Jill Biden, but it won’t ever reach that same level, because in her station in life, her misuse of him for her own personal gains in power and money, will always be far more egregious coming from her than from his own brother.
And Joe Biden-all these years, using his mentally and morally compromised, crack and sex addicted son as a piggy bank, says volumes about the cruelty of that human stain that he is. Any father that would knowingly do what he did to his son, putting him in those positions is worthy of the maledictions of all compassionate and moral people. A REAL father would have protected him, instead of exploring him.
In light of all this, WE should not relent out of pity, I will not relent out of compassion, attacking and ridiculing this evil scum of a human being and his grasping, greedy, corrupt family, friends, and political allies.
They mean to destroy this nation. Their greed, avarice, and lust for power could lead directly to everything from a nuclear war to nationwide famine and the misery and deaths of millions of Americans, including those who blindly support what the people around Joe Biden are doing.
I won’t play by Marquis of Queensbury rules while they leverage every ounce of Saul Alinsky and Marxist dogma to do the same to the citizens of this country in their lust for control.
