An Oregon woman found an arsonist on her property over the weekend. The woman held him by gunpoint on the ground until police arrived.
She told the man if her husband would have caught him he’d be dead.
The mainstream media ignored this citizen’s arrest.
It goes against their global warming and anti-gun narrative.

That’s just a plain stupid ass question.
I prefer rioters and arsonists to be well ventilated.
Basically a ‘gothcha’ ... (Do you still beat your wife) ... question.
If she holds him at gunpoint and doesn’t allow him to leave she stands a chance of being charged with ‘false imprisonment’.
I figure she has a better chance of ‘beating’ the rap if she dispatches him with swift abandon.
With lack of witnesses (or ‘sober’ witnesses) she can always claim he charged her and she felt her life was threatened.
Also, if she had done step two, the idiot wouldn’t have a chance to reproduce and or continue on his errant ways.

Was she arrested? What constitutes “holding at gunpoint” and when is it legal or illegal?

I did think it was a little weird the way she kept slinging that gun around, putting it behind her back and such. Maybe I’m a chicken but if I pulled a gun on someone and didn’t shoot, it would stay in front of me and held with two hands, and I wouldn’t get as close as she did. He could jump up and grab it.
Given all the recent fires set by arsonists in Oregon, my answer is:
Not just “YES, but “HELL YES”!!
She should ha ve shot him a few times. Yes I agree. I would have shot the bastard.
