Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein and AG Jeff Sessions are working hand-in-hand on dismantling the Deep State.
Deep State corruption is deep and embedded. No normal investigation is going to cut it.

Critics of Sessions need to understand that Sessions is a prosecutor in the traditional, Wyatt Earp sense.
He doesn't camera hog
He rarely gives press releases, media interviews, or conferences.
He does the work diligently behind the scenes.
Why (Nicolas Cage from the movie "The Rock" here) IN ZEUS' BUTTHOLE! is Sessions all of a sudden a Deep State mole, when for years he's been a distinguished Senator and on the front lines on the illegal alien immigration front and was the first elected official to endorse Trump?
Oh, he endorsed Trump as part of a nefarious plot. Yeah right. Sessions bashers need to take their meds.
As the resident Sessions' butt-kisser here (In before the Sessions bashers), Sessions is doing his part in taking apart the Swamp albeit by other boulevards.
- Rosenstein was granted full immunity.
- The corruption is so embedded and thick that a normal prosecution wasn't going to cut it. Ergo, Rosenstein was hired by Trump to prosecute the Deep State because to fight corruption, you've got to use a corrupt figure so the bad guys won't know.
So what does Devin Nunes do?
"Durka durka durka...let's threaten Sessions!" Nevermind that this is going to throw all of the hard work that Sessions have done since mid-2017 into naught.
What makes you think Sessions is "doing nothing?"

Some FReepers are actually siding with the DOJ rather than Chairman Nunes over the withholding of potentially incriminating documents.
They are also at odds with President Trump in the matter (see post #124).

These “insiders” don’t have Trump’s best interest at heart, imo.

Sessions caused most of the trouble. And, he is a typical do nothing Senator. However, in this case, do nothing is highly destructive.
That OIG report was first due in January, we probably will never see it. Maybe a redacted watered down version sometime after the mid term elections. Sessions is a coward. He is afraid of doing his job, he should be fired.

I fervently hope you’re right, but I’d love to see just one piece of evidence that supports your contention - just one. I know Devin Nunes pretty damned well, I know what he’s done and is doing behind the scenes and I know he’s the real deal. I also know that if Sessions told Nunes, “I can’t comply with your subpoena because those documents are being used as evidence in a criminal investigation, etc....”, Devin would back off and he’s not. As for Rosenstein, BFF of Comey and Mueller, you have to be kidding...
This entire line of reasoning - “delayed to pursue...” - is utter nonsense. There are dozens of near-term targets for prosecution and no one - not even McCabe - has yet been charged with so much as shoplifting. We’re supposed to believe that there will be a flurry of indictments in a couple of months. Please!

Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein IS Deep State. A swamp dweller of the first magnitude.
It may take longer. It may take 10 years to unwind a significant portion of the corruption in The Swamp.
To expect less, is quite optimistic.

I wont insult you as some are doing. I will just respond, when you credit Rosestein for draining the swamp, you have cmpletley lost all touch with reality. I do not know why you are such a rabidly fervent supporter of Jeff Sessions, but it is obvious that your Extremely Extrem Bias for Jeff Sessions has blinded you to reality. With all due respect, I think you have hit rock bottom. Please take care not to get zotted.
