It has been almost three years since I, along with many others, was introduced to Governor Sarah Palin. In that time we have been saturated with coverage of her and just about everybody on the left and the right, has had the opportunity to get to know who she is and what they think of her.
At least that's what I thought.

Thank you for your post! I am VERY excited. :)
Interesting article, but it’s not enough for one hack film critic to turn things around. It has always been “fashionable” to hate Sara Palin, and no new information is allowed in most voters’ minds. Whern hatred of an idividual becomes a fashion, as with Bush, then everybody stops thinking about it and simply hates her...even if they can’t enunciate a reason.
Because it’s fashion, nobody who hates her feels there is a need to rationally explain it. It is what it is. Which is why I find it disappointing that otherwise intelligent people, such as Charles Krouthammer, dismiss her without explanation. He should know better, but he as intellectualy bankrupt as Bill Maher when it comes to all things Palin.
It’s infuriating. FReepers do it too.
So, I see you're still getting your news analysis from Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert.
Let me gently say, almost nothing could be worth making Bambi president. The work to undo the evil he has done will be beyond hard.
If she is the president that can undo it, it could be good in the end, but what he has done will tie us up for more than a decade.
Such people feel Jesus' powerful presence just as surely as you feel the bannisters on the stairwells you descend. When they pray to God for guidance, they don't "hear" Him say, "I want you to do this," or, "to do that." What they do is wait to see if they feel strongly moved to go in one direction or another, and have faith that, if they do feel strongly led, it is God's leading. Our Founding Fathers were also such Spirit led, p[rayerful Christians. They didn't do so bad, did they? Again, to somone lacking this faith, it sounds like so much hogwash... just as the Bible teaches believers it will.
But the Bible is also very clear that God lifts up leaders over men according to His plan and His will. If (when) Sarah announces, it will only because she faithfully believes that this is God's leading. And because of that, I am certain she can already start measuring the drapes for the Oval Office.
We'll see soon enough which of us was right.
;^)
Probably should have said “almost” worth it. Yes, undoing what this person has done will be extremely difficult. But the pendulum will swing...ying and yang. Just hope it’s far enough to balance how wrong we’ve gone.
I saw the other thread where Steve Bannon’s comment was discussed. That’s a mighty tall promise he’s making, but who knows - maybe he really will drop a bombshell that will upend US politics.
Hope so.
In the end it's going to be a war to root out the radical left, I think Palin would be a very effective leader in helping us to do that.
“So, I see you’re still getting your news analysis from Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert.”

Perhaps you already know this, but that absurd quote came from the author of the article, and was precisely what I was objecting to.
But that's just me hypothetically postulating in a vacuum of absolute foreknowledge. Notwithstanding the fact that many years ago, also on a Friday, it was me who predicted to FReepland that the coming weekend would find Bill Clinton politically crippled. Some FReepers actually doubted me.
By Monday, the rest of the world had heard of "Linda Tripp," "Monica Lewinsky," and shortly thereafter, "The Blue Dress." I'll bet Jim Robinson remembers. I'm talking back when the daily conservo-warriors inhabiting FreeRepublic had names like Arator, Aruanan, A+Bet, dirtboy, Lucianne Goldberg, etc. Those were heady days here in cyberspace.
But they couldn't hold a candle to what's coming. Not even close.

Stop. You're making my heart race. LOL
If what Bannon is going to expose is bigger than MonicaGate, it truly will upend American politics, and usher in an historic shift in our culture (he did say tectonic plates would shift, didn't he?).
Well, we've all been praying for a revolutionary shift back to the America of the Founders. This might be the thing that does it. Boy, do I hope so.
Oooops. Sorry about that. Guess I just had another of those Joe Biden, "Chuck, stand up and let everyone see you" moments.
Glad we agree that the quote was absurd.
Great post!

"The Undefeated" @ Orange, CA "after party" says "RUN, SARAH, RUN! [7/15/11]"... but you can certainly HEAR us
On Sarah Palin, I was so incredibly hoodwinked that the one word that my wife and I agreed described how we felt after watching it, was shame.

The hate mongers are out at the Internet Movie Data base and more likely than not have been stuffing the ballot box with bad reviews. I bet only a handful of those who give it a single star even saw the movie.
