"Fairness" is just a smoke and mirrors reason for why Obama ordered his Gestapo czar, Eric Holder, to have the DOJ investigate Arizona's new immigration law, especially since Zero thinks it's "unfair" for illegals to have to show ID but not at all unfair to require us natural-born citizens to carry a biometric national ID card.

I think it’s because he is as likely to be found a legal resident, a natural born citizen (as it were) as I am to be found as the candidate for the May issue of Playboy Magazine.
I am weird, I think that if I was hispanic and got my citizenship thru the proper method, i would resent someone just getting it by breaking law.

...I agree with this which makes me firmly believe that “Martial Law” will be the cause of a halt to Nov elections. Libs will cause this through violence and Obama will charge in to keep law and order. Most thumb sucking Americans will view this as “leadership skills”.

Its never been about anything else for the dems. Never.
At the root of all these debates is the demographics of voters. There is a reason why a democratic candidate often wants as many absentee ballots removed as possible. Remove the military and businessman abroad, which is overwhelmingly Republican. Likewise, this issue not only is a hot topic for the Latino voter, it’s also something where the more they can register and get to vote the better, since these voters tend to be on the side of a more liberal candidate.
If I had to guess, this issue is purely about election demographics. Example: Years past (growing up overseas myself) in Germany a party called the SPD pushed very hard to have Turks and other minority groups in Germany be given voting rights. Guess what these people predominantly voted for?

Has that been signed by the Gov. yet? I know it has passed both houses but have not seen where it had been signed yet. Have I missed something?

I know, even some FReepers, along with Bill O’dofus, think it is kooky, or low class to say that, but they never give a reason for his not producing it.
It think it was signed into law on Friday.
