Well I think that many will accept this on faith, why? because there is nothing else to show about where Obama was born being that they have yanked “their” version of it, now its going to be a propaganda war of insults and experts crying that this is a forgery etc.
The point you are making may well be as true as summer rain, but may be equally irrelevant. I believe it is very possible that despite the lack of the word “Republic” in the 1963 constitution, more than likely a British concoction, the intent of newly independent Kenya was to establish a Republic from day one, and this intention may well have been manifested in the terminology they used to describe themselves as they went forward.
The use of the term Republic of Kenya on this form may be meaningful or it may not be. In order to know, someone who KNOWS what similar documents issued in Kenya in 1964 actually looked like needs to make such a detemination.
And that’s not you or me.
If anyone has a similar document, issued in Kenya in the time period in question, and which provenance is known, were to post it, this issue might be settled.

On April 10, 2008 Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO) introduces Senate Resolution S. Res. 511 to “recognize that John Sidney McCain is a natural born citizen.” The resolution is allegedly meant to clarify that McCain is eligible to be President even though he was born in Panama. Because McCain’s parents were both Americans and he was born in Panama because his father was stationed there while in the military, existing law already covers McCain and he is eligible to be President. McCaskill’s resolution thus serves no purpose – except that language is included to try and provide a “blanket cover” for other foreign born candidates without military backgrounds, in order to enable Obama to be eligible to be President. This is the language that Obama inserted “Whereas previous presidential candidates were born outside of the United States of America and were understood to be eligible to be President;” This Clause has no particular relevance to McCain [The language is inserted by Obama.][301,303]
A forger would get a copy of a Kenyan COLB for a birth in the same time frame and then copy/modify it.

Fake or real, at least this document will put more pressure on Obama and Hawaii officials to release Obama's 1961 birth certificate, which I believe, to the sad surprise of many Obama supporters, will NOT have a doctor signature or a hospital name.
Poor Dr. Fukino of Hawaii. If this Kenyan birth certificate is true, she will go down in history as one of the most deceptive and lying government officials in the history of the United States---whether true or not---because the whole world knows that she said Obama was born in Hawaii.

I believe that they wanted to cut loose from the colonial constitution that was bequeathed to them in 1963, KNEW they were after a Republic, and could easily have started using the term in the meantime. We need a Kenyan with experince in the promulgation of public records in the time period in question to resolve the issue. It's a question, for sure, but in the end it may be of no importance. The key issue is what's on page 5733 of Book 44B. Can someone please check?
